This means that Barzani has chosen the second option, which preserves his face. The final outcome: Barzani has won and lost, the profit he wants is to impose himself as legitimate legal head for two years coming with the approval of most of the Kurdish blocs, the maximum of what he wants to put the subject of the referendum, and lost Wataniya and Kirkuk and disputed all of them and lost his political symbolism and his family. Yeah …. Barzani can bet on the weakness of Baghdad or the Shiites after two years to decide what to do then.

Not if Barzani's threats on the referendum for secession  is true. If they are true they only have till 9/25/17, or maybe 9/26/17. Unless the people vote to stay, or Barzani gets indicted by the Integrity Commission before then, MAYBE. Yes l heard what ADAM said yesterday on th topic of secession.

I think Barzani needs to loosen up that turban as it seems to be cutting off the blood flow to his oversized head, arrogant little a-hole....   down to the last week of this screwy little game he wants to play. It occurs to me he started out using it as leverage, but then started thinking about how he could be the king of his own little country, and then not have to be bothered by the CBI's incessant nosing around his banks, the ones he stores his stolen booty in!    :angry:

After reports of the possibility of sacking him, an informed source revealed Saturday that President Fuad Masum canceled his visit to New York and headed Haydar al-Abadi, the Iraqi delegation participating in the meetings of the United Nations General Assembly.

This information comes after the publication of "sng" earlier in the day, reports indicate the determination of the Iraqi Council of Representatives to overthrow President Fuad Masum, and replace him with his deputy Iyad Allawi.
