Wiljor
Iraq, September 4, 2017 The Kurdistan Region’s Board of Tourism announced on Sunday (September 3) that as many as 145,000 tourists visited the region in the first two days of the Eid al-Adha holiday. Tourists are continuing to visit the region, board spokesman Nadir Rosti told NRT. According to figures from the Tourism Directorate in Sulaimani, the province is expected to see a tourism boost for four day of the Eid holiday with 150,000 tourists visiting Sulaimani. For many Iraqis, Sulaimani provides an ideal escape not only from the summer heat, but also from a precarious security situation in cities such as Baghdad. Sulaimani is called the Kurdistan Region’s 'cultural capital' due to the fact that many Iraqi philosophers, poets, writers and artists came from the city. Pleasant weather, tourist attractions and relative stability have made it a preferred destination for Iraqis. The city of Sulaimani took the top rank in 2016 for the number of visitors across the Kurdistan Region and the number has increased by four in comparison to the previous year. nrttv http://iraqdailyjournal.com/story-z15851480

Donziman
When a people first come out from under a dictator like Sadam they are unaware of free speech. Maliki controlled the media and had his goon squad crush anyone speaking out against him. Fear ruled iraq for many years. The access to the internet and social media will soon do away with this tyrant. Vacation in lovely iran anyone?

yota691
Maliki committed serious mistakes ... Activists on Facebook show him to ridicule !! 06-09-2017 01:51 PM Readers Baghdad News - Iraqi activists circled through social networking sites commenting, congratulations sent by Vice President and former Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki to the Iraqis on the occasion of Eid al-Adha. Activists monitor misspellings in this congratulation, sent by text messaging services to mobile operators, and agreed that 12-word congratulations included four errors. Maliki wrote: "I congratulate you on the glorious Eid al-Adha, May Allah reward you with a good day and a victory and victory for all Iraqis." The errors are: 1 Muslims describe Al-Adha as 'blessed and happy' and do not call it 'glorious'. 2 days (good) and not a day (good). 3 (Fatah) and not (Fatha). 4 (make it) and not (make). Maliki is known by the Iraqis as the cause of most of the disasters that took place in Iraq during his tenure under the leadership of the Iraqi government, perhaps the most prominent financial corruption, sectarian fighting, and handing over one third of Iraqi land to Daish, and massacre Spyker.
