Honestly, Iraq is a joke. So much corruption goes on. Absolutely no oversight when a loan is given.

Iraq is asking the IMF for more loans in Oct & Jan. It seems the monies from previous IMF loans were squandered away or stolen.

If nothing changes by Jan, the military, Civil Service & retirees will once again, go unpaid.

This is only gas on the flames as Sadr calls for more demonstrations.

Come elections, Abadi is out. Maliki regains in popularity as his Baathist party grows in numbers.

The Fox could be in charge of the Henhouse again meaning even more corruption & killings.

Maliki is a no RV policy guy. Iran loves this as more CBI auction profits end up in Tehran.

The more things change in Iraq the more they stay the same.

We hope it won't come to this or we can kiss the RV good-by.

The IMF would be better served if they paid Kawitt the 5 billion and get Iraq out of Chapter VII than if they turned over the funds to be squandered.
