The media office of Vice President Nuri al-Maliki on Thursday denied news about the deterioration of Maliki's health condition, while noting that he is doing his work normally. 

The director of the office Hisham Rikabi said in an interview with Alsumaria News, "The news published by some media about the deterioration of the situation of Vice President Nuri al-Maliki health, naked," noting that "Maliki is doing his work normally."
 
 
 

"Maliki has met with the families of the martyrs of the popular crowd," Rikabi said, adding that he "expressed his full support for these families, who offered the most precious possessions to free the land of Iraq from the gangs of criminals." 

He called on the media to "extract information from their official sources." 

A number of media reported that Vice President Nuri al-Maliki deteriorated his health, which necessitated his transfer to Iran for the purpose of treatment.

I remember back when he was PM and he had a meeting with the then President, who in just an hr after the meeting had a heart Attach, and spent the rest of his time in Germany , and we all thought he was Dead.  Well Mr Maliki Pay back is  HELL !!!!!!!!

Checked 5 Iraq news sites...nothing yet. But I did find THIS. I've got more sympathy for the donkey than for Maliki. :o

 

 

Islamic State militants die booby-trapping donkey in Kirkuk

Kirkuk (IraqiNews.com) Eight Islamic State militants were killed and wounded when explosives they were fitting to a donkey exploded in Kirkuk, a security source was quoted saying.

The source told Alsumaria News that eight militants were putting an explosives vest on a donkey at al-Rashad region, 40 kilometers southwest of Kirkuk, preparing to send it to security deployments in Hamreen mountains. The booby-trap exploded prematurely, however, killing three and wounding five, according to the source who said the new technique aims at avoiding strikes by Iraqi and U.S.-led coalition warplanes.

Looking back to May 23rd this year, same news came out....on day the US turned over list for prosecution of 154 Iraqis responsible for theft and corruption. Reportedly Maliki went to Iran for medical treatment, and unfortunately, they SAVED him. ;)

This is so sad and unneccesary......I will say this one more time. When hiring a donkey tailor, always, ALWAYS, ask for references and require that they have adequate liability insurance to cover such events as this!

Maliki's office denies deterioration of his health: Entrenched behind the news

The media office of Vice President Nuri al-Maliki on Thursday, the news that dealt with the poor health of the owners stands behind the tendentious parties trying to disrupt public opinion, as he put it. 
 

The director of the office Hisham Rikabi told "Al-Gharab Press" that "there is no truth to the news that dealt with the poor health of Vice President Nuri al-Maliki, he is carrying out his official duties and today had a meeting with the families of the martyrs of the popular crowd and honored them." 

He stressed that "there are tendencies aimed at mixing the papers and create a state of confusion in the public opinion," and called on the media to "be careful and take news from their official sources." 

Some of the media, had circulated earlier Thursday, news of the deteriorating health of Vice President Nuri al-Maliki.
