Economy News Baghdad:  The Central Bank announced on Thursday the disbursement of the amount of 44.9 billion dinars owed by contractors who have implemented projects for the Ministry of Water Resources.  The central bank said in a press statement read by "Economy News", "We announce the start to pay the dues of contractors received from the Ministry of Finance," adding that "the disbursement of 60% of the company of Ibn al-Majid General of the Ministry of Industry." The central bank announced on Thursday the direct payment of dues to contractors who have implemented projects for the Ministry of Water Resources, Industry and Minerals.

A statement by the bank received / Mawazine News / a copy of it, "The Central Bank began to pay the receivables of contractors received from the Ministry of Finance," stating that "was disbursed 60% of the company, Ibn Majid General Ministry of Industry."

The statement added, "The amount of 44.9 billion dinars has been paid to contractors who have implemented projects for the Ministry of Water Resources." Ended 29 / a 43

I figure that the forms might help weed out the crooks using the currency window, as the form creates a better paper trail?

The contractors are getting pay in dinars... 44.9 billion IQD. Also the new mechanism for selling foreign currency is to prevent 

momey laundering and finance terrorism.

 

I believe the CBI-GOI is going to continue using the dinar at 1182 till the get everything in order.

The mechanism of selling the auction forms and the electronic instruments book
A mechanism has been established for the sale of forms of participation in the foreign currency sale window and the electronic sukuk books
As follows

A- Selling the subscription forms in the window and the electronic certificates books for the banks
The Bank shall submit a letter to the Accounting Department stating the number of the books of the forms or the books of the Sukuk Al-Ghanim, the purchase of which is valid for the Bank, indicating the name of the authorized person to receive and approving the collection of the forms from his account
