Luigi says...Take Judy B as a rumor.

Restored Republic conference call claimed the RV began this weekend but was halted due to Charlottesville.

Latest fear is that maybe the full moon or the solar eclipse could halt the RV.

Luigi's theory, it must be a go because Luigi's own Ol' Blue just had a litter of puppies.

My prediction is just as reliable as any other Guru's prediction.

It would be great..... wonderful..... fantastic (or any other word of your choice) if we had someone that really had some solid information, but that person doesn't exist. There is no one, nobody, not a soul that has information about this investment other than that special group in Iraq that will finally make the call. And all we can do is sit back and wait (and hope).

Exactly...way too much political posturing and finger pointing right now.  Lots of talk in Iraq right now but seemingly little action.  Since my opinion was asked for -- I do think it will happen, but probably sometime down the road.  Really hope I'm wrong but somehow I think we will caught by surprise (but happy) when it happens.

  • Not enough infrastructure
  • Maliki is still breathing
  • Iran still trying to get its hand in the pot
  • Not enforcing the rules of their own constitution
  • Too much political corruption
  • Not really a stable environment for outside investors (despite all their trumpeting)
  • Lots of op eds coming out, but not much in real laws being passed
  • Too much reliance upon oil
  • Not enough of an State identity (Kurdish independence)
  • An awful lot of borrowing undertaken by GOI

Yeah you pretty much said what no one else is willing to admit, especially infrastructure and stability.

ISIS is still in Iraq, the UN is providing assistance with Iraqi security, and cities are in shambles.

When things like this are said, people plug their ears and go
