Adam, it seems you learned to surf in Lake Michigan.  Maybe there you can "Hang Loose" but here at the Pacific side of the World we "Hang Ten".  I'm not exactly sure but I believe that might be the difference between lake surfing and ocean surfing.  And if you're old enough most people can even remember the clothing Co called Hang Ten.

Enjoy  Seems like no matter what you say someone is always going to challenge it.  Hahaha

Thank You, Adam, for Your to the point and factual post!

:tiphat:

In my opinion, the "lull", "ho hum", or even "bad news" could be the precursor to the "Big Wave Event" we have been waiting for!

Thank You, Adam, for all Your efforts and those of Your Affiliates for the preparations and preparing us for the "Big Wave Event"!

(Well, OK, I do have my "Bug Out Bags" ready to go on a moment's notice!)

And, OH, YEAH, BABY...........

Go Moola Nova!

:pirateship:

DW,

Thanks, I feel really dated now and while some of it has been demoted to "vented for chores clothing" I still sport my "Hang Ten" attire.

Just an FYI to my previous post.  Adam, I was born in MI, right next door to you but my family moved here to So Cal when I was six.  So I'm pretty much a CA native and spent a great deal of time at the Beach.  Newport and Huntington to be more precise.  I was a great body surfer but I only went real surfing once.  Hit my head on the board and cut my foot on the skag.  The lesson to be learned from all this?  Who cares, talk is cheap.

FINALLY! A post I could relate to - TOTALLY!

So like I get it! We are all like looking to get pitted in a batrrel, but at least we don't go over the falls at the Wedge on a drainer and eat it on the beach. Iraq government are like grommets trying to get it together, and we are like outside just resting and kickin' it.

I am thinking the August swells traditionally get big, and as we say, "If it swells, RIDE IT!".

No worries, I have always been goofy ...

Good, Good, Good, Good Vibrations....;)

Hanging 10 with the board all waxed and ready to ride like the wind...

I remember in elementary school, those last two minutes before the bell rang were the longest two minutes in the world if you sat there and starred at the clock. But, if you were busy doing stuff you didn't notice and the bell would just suddenly ring and you were off and running...

If we all just keep our eyes on Heaven and keep occupied, the wait will go smoother....

Be blessed!
