I say I'm staying here
II get drunk and what can I do
head is spinning but I want to talk'
I say I'm staying here
 sadness goes away
wine goes down but then it will end

I will move
Touching what I do not have
I will smileГІ
Weeping perhaps a bit '
But I do all by myself
and I get drunk so that I won't see
But I know that I'll make mistakes

I feel at war  and the rest I do not know.

I say I'm staying here
 fear goes away
And if I get asleep on the floor do not wake me up
I say I'm staying here
sometimes it needs to be done
for all the confusion  that goes on here

 I'll move etc.

Je Sto Vicino A Te ( I Stand Beside You)

Translation ( incomplete).  I'm unable to translate  the remainder from  neapolitan dialect. Sorry.

It's like another language even for Italians if you happen not to be from that area like myself ( I'm from the North) . Some I got but the rest I couldn't grasp. I couldn't find a decent translation on the net so far.. .

I stand by you
with hundred screams around

I stand by you
till  the time you fall asleep

I stand by you
 because the world is dirty
and don't try to know
 you better sleep

but what's the point in talking?

always the same things ( to be continued...)

Saw him in concert in the 80's....Very good

Je So' Pazzo ( I'm crazy)

I'm mad, mad
and I want to be who I want
get out from my house
I'm mad, mad
I have people waiting for me
and sorry but I'm in a hurry
Do not tell me that I am always right
I know that I am a failure
In my life I want to live at least one day as a lion
and this time Government shouldn't condemn me
as I'm mad
and today I want to talk.

I'm mad, mad
if I lose my temper
I put all of you face the wall
I'm mad, mad
And who does say that a black-skinned Masaniello
is not beautiful?
and I am not handicapped
And I took the grades too
and I painted this face black just to be noticed
Masaniello has grown up
Masaniello is back

I'm mad, mad
so, don't piss us off! ( it's  way more strong than that really..)

Translator's comment:

Masaniello (nickname for Tommaso Aniello) (1622 – July 16, 1647) was a Neapolitan fisherman, who became leader of the revolt against Spanish Habsburg's rule in Naples in 1647. He has become a symbol of civil disobedience and indocility.
