The Commission on Parliamentary Oil and Energy, on Wednesday, that the current version of the law of the National Oil Company, which has been received from the Presidency of the Council of Ministers was incomplete, indicating that the law does not represent the aspirations of the oil industry in Iraq.
 
The committee member said Zaher al - Abadi said in a statement received "Tomorrow Press" a copy of it, "We are meeting today with the relevant affairs of the oil cadres, so we go national oil law to the second legislative reading and to get to the third reading of the vote , " stressing " the most important and the importance of the National Company economically, serving the country and give them the wide area and providing them with sober law. " 
The MP pointed to al - Abadi, that " the current version of the law of the National Oil Company, which has been received from the Presidency of the Council of Ministers was incomplete and does not represent the aspirations of the oil industry in Iraq," adding that it "formula does not exceed nine materials," he said. 
He called MP, said that "a national oil company headquarters in Basra province, Basra represents the fact that Iraq 's economic capital, thus adding the company 's headquarters is a complement to the project and gives an important economic framework with the presence of important oil institutions."

Abadi stressed during his speech on the importance of the National Company of the Iraqi economy, the desire to transform the company's headquarters to the province of Basra, being the capital of Iraq's economic. 

Recall that in mid-March 2017 was voted the National Oil Company Law, and to allocate it to the House of Representatives. 

The law covers the text of 9 items most notably, allowing the company to invest in all areas of oil and gas for all the territory of Iraq and its territorial waters, and are entitled to Alaaguetrad from inside or outside Iraq to finance its investments.

DT thanks and Excuse me but I gota think outloud again! They just swept through the 3rd reading and left for a vote which turned a lightbulb in my brain on..and i remembered Saturday is the next meeting...considering employees are getting paid today/tomorow...and imf gave to end of the month. I wonder if it's going until the last day lol but I have a good feeling it's now and not 31st.

Might I remind you guys that this IS Iraq and don't get your hopes up, it's not worth the letdown. while I think that Iraq is moving in the right direction, I have not seen any movement in their sovereign credit rating which IMO will need to be in the A range prior to anything significant happening with capital inflows and exchange rates. Don't mean to be a Debbie downer but trying to keep it real. I would love to be soooo wrong about this.
