What caught my eye is the 1,200 IQD = 1 USD rate. I heard in the past the market exchange rate would need to be within 2% of the CBI rate before an overall change in the IQD exchange rate.

1,200 (market rate)/1,184 (CBI rate) = 1.0152 or 1.52% over CBI rate.

However, this exchange may be for limited instances where the Iraqi citizen is traveling abroad and may not reflect the typical market exchange rate.

IQD exchange news like this makes one wonder. Kinda gets one stoked - at least a little.

Go Moola Nova!
