Said Sheikh Dler in a statement the agency {Euphrates News} received a copy of it on the occasion of the International Day of widows, that "according to the results of food security survey , which was carried out by the Central Bureau of Statistics ( NBS ) in the Ministry of Planning during the year 2016 between the number of widows reached 878 thousand and 455 widows of whom 203 000 widow aged 14 to 49 years old and there are 675 thousand and 198 widow aged 50 years and older. " She noted that "those statistics did not include the provinces of Nineveh, Anbar and Kirkuk districts in Hawija and Baiji and SHIRQAT province in Salah al - Din province because of security conditions in it." She Dler "The security forces provided for the Liberation of Nineveh province during this period have doubled the number of widows , especially with the taking of terrorist Daesh approach to qualifying for the men 's physical breadwinners for the families of the gangs, which exacerbated the tragedy of women's social status and standard of living."
