For clarity, the differences in their religion is the Sunni's worship Allah , the Shites worship Ali. The Kurds are Christian! It all centers around the ancient city of Mecca! So, it's really difficult to say whether the Kurdish region will stay, or divide from Central Government! If the oil and gas law is ratified and done properly dividing the oil proceeds accordingly, then Iraqi government will stay in tact! Hard to say, but we should be getting close to a resolve, either way!

Thank You for the compliment SnowGlobe! So, atop all the politics and greed, and strife of big money, we have to deal with the religious strife as well! We all know, as Christians, the Muslims view us as infidels, to be eliminated so to speak. So, the Shite(Ali worship),Sunni(Allah worship), Kurds(Christians), well, what a mix in the brew! Then you have the politics, and big big big money in the mix! The Kurdish region, go figure, here they are in between Iran(Shite-Ali), and below their territory Regional Government a predominately Shite(Ali-God), mixed with a Sunni(Allah-God)! Most Muslims about 96%, are Sunni(Allah-God) worship! The real irony is this, they all Muslim, and Christian both celebrate the religious holidays of one another. That is strange. All we want is the true value as investors for the "Dinar", which is highly undervalued. I agree with Adam, for my own reasons, that it should start around 10 cents per USD. That's even if the Kurds do become their own government. We'll know pretty soon, either way! The main point is Kurdistan Iraq is only second to Israel of our allies in the Middle Eastern countries. Third, ally is Kuwait! And Kurdish entire region is sandwiched in-between all that mix!

Alsumaria News / Baghdad revealed Prime Minister Haider al - Abadi , Thursday, about the existence of a desire to open a Kuwaiti investment channels with Iraq , while pointing to the government 's efforts to restore trade between Iraq and the operations of Jordan after securing ports.  Ebadi said during the weekly press conference, attended by Alsumaria, "we seek to re - trade exchange between Iraq and Jordan operations after securing the ports."  He added that "there is a desire to open a Kuwaiti investment channels with Iraq , " following the "Saudi officials confirmed that Iraq 's strength and Astaqrarah are in the interest of their country."   The Prime Minister Haider al - Abadi recently conducted a regional tour that included Saudi Arabia, Iran and Kuwait , and met with officials of those countries and discussed with them bilateral relations and several files.

Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi said that Iraq needs $ 100 billion for the reconstruction of cities and provinces, which was dominated by the organization Daesh the infrastructure of public and private property destroyed.

Abadi stressed that the countries of the region to cooperate in order to fight terrorism and eliminate it completely, adding that Iraq will play a key role in the new consensus between the countries of the region to create stability.
