launched its second annual business meeting of the Asian Bank for investment in infrastructure on Friday in Jeju Island , South Korea , in the presence of thousands of government officials and officials of international organizations and businessmen. 
It held the opening ceremony of the meeting of the Board of Governors of the Bank at the International Convention Center on the island , located south of South Korea. 
Participants in the annual meeting this year about thousand participants within the delegations of Member States and 20 Foundation 57 new members, international organizations, as well as personalities from the academic community, as well as businessmen, financiers and journalists. 
It features an attendance of more than 20 finance ministers from members of the Bank of 77 authenticated , such as Australia, China, Georgia, India, Indonesia and Laos, according to the Ministry of Finance , South Korea. 
The President of South Korea , "Moon Jae said that" in a speech of congratulations delivered by the way about his high expectations towards the Bank to play a greater role in opening up a better future , saying that sustainable infrastructure is still important to eradicate poverty and expand economic development, particularly for developing countries in Asia. 
He pointed out that the bank has made many achievements in a short period of half a year to make significant contributions to built infrastructure extended to developing countries. 
Chaired by the Minister of Finance and South Korean Kim Dong- Yoon, who also serves as deputy prime minister for economic affairs of the country, official meetings where the country is hosting the second annual meeting jointly with the Asian Bank for investment in infrastructure. 
The second meeting under the "sustainable infrastructure" slogan is held in pursuit of the strategic directions of the World Bank's infrastructure and to take major decisions on the bank 's management. 
According to Bank President Jin Lee Cheon in a welcome message that "this annual meeting holds particular importance to our organization growing maturity as an opportunity for our shareholders and our partners to engage with us and offer different visions about how they should prevent the Bank strategy to meaningful results for the people of Asia." 
In addition to formal meetings, it was decided to hold a series of activities on the sidelines of the meeting , such as seminars on infrastructure and business meetings and one - to - one. 
It will hold several bilateral meetings between senior delegates on the sidelines of the formal meetings. 
The first meeting was held in Beijing last year. 
Korea has become a place for the first meeting outside of China to the Board of Governors of the Bank, which is the main decision - making body bank.
