DWS112 Thanks,  DV,  Excellent news so it looks like Iraq & Coalition Forces have isolated ISIS in the Western part of Mosul...No where to run or hide but either surrender or death is your only fate.   Kill them all IMHO.....

They are now, indeed, surrounded. Their last escape route, to Tal Afar, has been cut off.

So even if they run like the cowards they are, they have a welcoming committee waiting for them.  I hope that our forces show them the same courtesy and kindness they have shown others.  :butt-kicking:   As Toby Keith says,  "It's the American way"

Now that they have permission to behave like the cowards that they are, they will all run.  The best thing about that is that wherever they run to, there will be less innocent civilians to hide behind - thereby allowing the good guys to let loose with all they've got!

GREAT NEWS!  I hope ALL news agencies blast this message from him to every corner of the planet.

ISIS should surrender and as they are marching back to wherever they came from, accidentally get bombed by our forces.  Or accidentally fall into a very deep hole and then they accidentally set fire to themselves trying to get out of said hole.

While hosing them down in pigs blood.

Nice TexasMike !!!

So from the safety of his hole in the ground, like the snake he is, telling the ISIS leftovers..."oops, my bad, you guys are idiots for giving your lives to follow me. If you get a chance, though, blow yourselves up for the lost cause, or escape to the mountains. Sorry if you are surrounded, but I am lining up some virgins in the after life for you. Gotta run, time for tea with my ladies".

Perfect leader for that group. :P

IS Leader Al-Baghdadi Asks Militants to Resort to Mountains: Source
MOSUL — Islamic State (IS) leader Abu Bakir al-Baghdadi has asked the members and supporters of his organization to escape and hide in the mountains, Iraqi al-Sumaria news reported on Tuesday.

The report cited a confidential source as saying that Baghdadi addressed the IS militants in a recent speech, admitting defeat in recent clashes in Mosul.

The IS outlets have not confirmed the news yet, neither they have reported the recent speech by Baghdadi.

Iraqi forces have completely controlled the eastern part of Mosul and are advancing to liberate the rest of the city from the IS militants who are cordoned off in the city, deprived of supply routes for food and ammunition.

I wasn't sure about the other sources I've seen, but BasNews is legit. It's still kind of hard to believe, considering how unreliable Baghdadi news always is, but if BasNews is reporting it, this could actually be real.

In a speech directed to his militants, ISIS leader Abu bakr al-Baghdadi admitted his terrorist group defeat in the recent battles against advance of Iraq troops in the right bank of Mosul.

A local source in Nineveh governorate revealed that al-Baghdadi urged ISIS terrorists to hide and escape to the mountain areas.

In his "farewell speech" that was distributed to the local mosques to explain the situation, ISIS clerics talked about the continuous defeats that the group is suffering in Nineveh and other strongholds, the source added.

The speech also included instructions to the group's militants to blew up themselves if surrounded by the Iraqi Forces, according to the source.

The source asserted that "Shura al-Mujahedeen" council leaders have all escaped from Nineveh and Tal Afar to Syrian territories, pointing out that ISIS leaders who are close to al-Baghdadi are moving at the Iraqi-Syrian borders.

Al-Baghdadi also ordered the shutdown of "Diwan al-Muhajreen w al-Jund" (the office for soldiers and immigrants) and made his foreign followers to choose either to escape and return to their countries or blow up themselves against the Iraqi troops to win what he claimed as a heavenly reward of as many as 72 Hoor Al-iyan (women of paradise), the source added.

The source revealed that al-Baghdadi ordered to withdraw "prince" title from ISIS leaders in the left bank of Mosul after their defeat from the advancing Iraqi security Forces.

Baghdadi's speech came in the wake of advancement of Iraqi troops on main axes of Mosul city, the last stronghold of ISIS in Iraq which has been under the control of the terrorist group since June 2014.

IS Leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi Admits Defeat in Iraq's Mosul

IANS

Updated: March 2, 2017, 10:55 AM IST

Baghdad: Islamic State (IS) leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi has admitted defeat in Mosul, the terror group's biggest stronghold in Iraq, and has ordered militants to either flee or kill themselves in suicide attacks, the media reported.

Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi made a "farewell speech" to his combatants in battlefields, ordering them to "flee and hide in mountainous areas" in Iraq and Syria, Iraqi News reported on Wednesday.

The text of the speech was disseminated among other speakers to read out to fighters at various areas in western Mosul.

The directives tell fighters to blow themselves up once encircled by Iraqi troops, adding that senior commanders close to Baghdadi were moving on the borderline between Syria and Iraq.

Iraqi forces have made remarkable gains since launching a renewed offensive on February 19 to retake western Mosul from IS militants.

The government said in January it had retaken the eastern side of the city following three months of fighting, Iraqi News added.

Earlier this month, unconfirmed news claimed that Baghdadi, whose exact whereabouts remain unknown, had been seriously wounded when airstrikes targeted a senior leadership meeting he chaired near the borders with Syria.

In 2014, IS declared Mosul its caliphate.
