Planning Minister from Kuwait: Iraq may cooperate to benefit from the port of Mubarak

Planning Minister Salman Jumaili said Iraq may cooperate with Kuwait to take advantage of its ports, Mubarak al-Kabir and the Iraqi ports, in the waters of the Gulf.
He said Jumaili , who is visiting Kuwait Halaa- in a press statement that " the priority of Iraq includes a focus on Iraqi ports , " noting that "in the event of failure to absorb those ports for the movement of exports and imports to serve the national economy and promotion , there will be future cooperation with Kuwait to take advantage of the port of Mubarak the Great" . 
He stressed Iraq 's desire to give Kuwait a comparative advantage in promising investment concessions in the markets because of the close ties linking the two brotherly countries and geographical proximity. " 
He praised Jumaili" capabilities of Kuwaiti companies at the local and global levels , "he said , adding that" Iraq is counting on Kuwaiti investors to contribute to the economic development of his country in order to achieve the government program as required. " 
He explained that" Kuwait is one of the most important economies in the region , "noting that" the promotion of trade between the two countries should be in accordance with the common interests of trade and greater exchange would contribute to advancing development in the two countries Table Rehn. " 
He noted, that" Iraq is on the verge of the reconstruction of the territories liberated from the clutches of the Daesh process , "calling on Kuwaiti companies to" invest in the reconstruction process as a promising trade and investment sides. " 
The Minister of Planning that" the Iraqi government began to take a package of economic reforms by amending laws and legislation in order to create an attractive environment for foreign investment in order to ensure the expansion of productive base of the country. " 
and that" the economic reform program in his country 's focus on privatization and attracting investment and encouraging the private sector to compete and diversify exports to contribute to reducing dependence D on oil revenues as a resource and a single national income. " 
Jumaili pointed out that " the Iraqi economy does not suffer from economic problems , but affected in the past years due to fluctuations in world oil prices and political crises experienced by the country , especially the war on Daesh." 
And his visit to Kuwait , stressed " the importance of this visit to the brotherly overcoming obstacles to the entry of Kuwaiti companies to invest in Iraq and find the best possible solutions for it and work to increase the volume of trade exchange." 
"The meeting with the Minister of Commerce and Industry and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Acting Khaled Rodan discussed how to facilitate the flow of goods, foodstuffs and capital companies between the two countries and to increase business Kuwaiti investors and business visits." 
He stated that " the visit resulted in the development of an integrated plan to address constraints in the next stage by making it easier to obtain visas between the two countries and the possibility of entry of goods between land borders as well as facilitating goods pay". 
Jumaili pointed out that "touch the will of the State of Kuwait on strengthening bilateral economic and trade relations and Kuwait 's keenness on the stability of the security situation in Iraq , which will reflect positively on the promotion of development between the two countries."

Iraq may cooperate with Kuwait to take advantage of its ports, Mubarak al-Kabeer and the Iraqi ports, in the waters of the Gulf, Planning Minister Salman al-Jumaili said. 
Al-Jumaili, who is currently visiting Kuwait, said in a press statement that 'the priority of Iraq includes the focus on Iraqi ports' noting that' in the event that these ports are not absorbed to the movement of exports and imports to serve the national economy and promote it there will be cooperation in the future with Kuwait to benefit from the port of Mubarak Al- . 
He stressed Iraq's keenness to grant Kuwait a comparative advantage in promising investment concessions in the markets because of the close ties between the two countries and their geographical proximity. 
Al-Jumaili praised the capabilities of Kuwaiti companies at the local and international levels, adding that Iraq relies on Kuwaiti investors to contribute to the economic development of its country and to achieve the government program as required. 
He pointed out that 'Kuwait is one of the most important economies in the region' noting that 'the promotion of trade between the two countries should be in accordance with the realization of common interests and trade exchange, so as to contribute to the development of the two neighboring countries.' 
He pointed out that 'Iraq is ahead of the process of reconstruction of land freed from the clutches of calling' and called on Kuwaiti companies to 'invest in the reconstruction process as a promising both sides of trade and investment'.

He added that 'his meeting with the Minister of Trade and Industry and Acting Minister of State for Youth Affairs Khalid Al-Rawdan discussed how to facilitate the flow of goods, foodstuffs and capital for companies between the two countries and increase visits of Kuwaiti businessmen and investors.' 
He said that 'the visit resulted in the development of an integrated plan to address the obstacles in the next phase through the facilitation of obtaining visas between the two countries and the possibility of entering goods between the land border as well as facilitating the payment of goods'. 
Al-Jumaili pointed out that he "senses the will of the State of Kuwait on the promotion of bilateral economic and trade relations and Kuwait's keenness to stabilize the security situation in Iraq, which will positively affect the promotion of development between the two countries."

Basra Oil Company announced on Tuesday, the implementation of maintenance operations and the formation of task forces to improve the reality of export ports in the company, pointing to stop work on pavements soon for maintenance purposes. 
The company said, in a statement, "Tomorrow 's Press" received a copy of it, that " the implementation of the directives of the Minister of Oil Jabbar Allaibi to improve the reality of the ports of Basra and al - Amaya and piers marina boats in FAO technical and operational terms and maintenance has been formed two working groups of the Commission and the departments concerned and the rest of the bodies export ports supporting the Basra oil company to complete the necessary work for it to be Iraqi ports to export oil to suit its position globally. "
 
She added that " the maintenance team and construction to ensure the reconstruction of loading docks through the switch pallet sheets affected parts of the (I-beam) and the reconstruction of loading and hydraulic systems for the valves 48 and 24 arms in addition to the system of measurement, modeling and valves key 24, while the other team work foundations and coating (piles) residential building switch Mahgrat peace and sheets pallet meshed (Xbm) and the Iron Islands coating linkage structure (for Dfrat) epoxy. " 
She explained that " in accordance with the directives of Allaibi in cooperation with the Engineering Equipment Company has two cadres of the Basra oil and engineering equipment to develop an action plan for the implementation of maintenance work and sidewalks that have been implemented many of its clauses." 
She noted that "Basra Oil Company awaiting approval of the ministry to stop work on the sidewalks that will be subject to maintenance operations, respectively , while ensuring that the impact on the export rates, where there will be coordination between the Alheiat and the relevant departments to carry out maintenance work on the port to include all sidewalks and platforms parts at once" . 
And he warned that "hopefully prepare a tender for the rehabilitation of vulnerable tide zone by specialized companies in this regard."

The Ministry of Transport announced on Thursday, close receipt of a grant from the Organization (UNICTAD) of the United Nations for the rehabilitation and development of ports in the country, at the same time, plans to implement a container terminal at the port of Faw.

"  
 
He added that "the company is working within a broad plan for the development and rehabilitation of all ports in the country in order to raise fiscal revenue for the company in particular and the state treasury in general, pointing at the same time it plans to set up a container terminal at the port of Faw after the arrival of the project breakers eastern and western waves to the stages advanced achievement. "

General Company for Ports of Iraq announced its intention to create a unified electronic management in coordination and cooperation with the private sector companies so as to unify the work, information and organize an integrated database at the company's headquarters.

A statement to inform the ministry of Deputy Director General of the Port Captain Mohsen Adnan Badr as saying that we are going to set up an electronic management at the company's headquarters will be under the supervision of electronic calculators department at the Ministry of Transport and in coordination with the private sector companies. And the Badr will be contracted with the Ministry of Communications to set up equipment and the training of specialized staff for the work is chosen from the owners e-governance department at the Iraqi ports, noting that the General Company for Ports of Iraq will work to rehabilitate these cadres to enable them to apply the same software used in the joint operating companies systems.
