The Englishman
International Team Investigating Maliki’s Cases of Corruption Basnews English 13/06/2017 - 13:31 Iraq ERBIL — An international team of investigators are currently probing into different cases of corruption in Iraq during the former Iraqi prime minister Nouri Maliki's administration. Maliki is accused of squandering and the disappearance of $120 billion from Iraq’s 2014 budget and destruction damages worth $27 billion in Mosul due to the fall of the city as a result of his political failure. Adel Nouri, a member of the Iraqi Parliamentary Committee of Integrity, told BasNews that an international team consisting of European and American investigators are in Iraq to investigate into the corruption cases in which Iraqi officials are involved. He noted that due to lack of an independent court in Iraq to deal with such cases and the threats against those who present evidence, the team is planning to transfer the cases to an international court. A large number of corruption cases prepared by the Integrity Commission ready for trial will be obtained by the international team, Nouri said, adding that legal procedures against the Iraqi officials are hard to be taken because they are still in power. He explained that Maliki is accused of the disappearance of $120 billion from Iraq’s 2014 budget and damage of $30 billion to the Iraqi army in northern provinces in the wake of the Islamic State (IS) invasion of Iraq. If an international court issues an arrest warrant for these officials and Iraqi government is unable to hand them to the court, the International Police Organization (INTERPOL) can arrest them. Representatives of Nineveh province to the Iraqi parliament are also planning to file a lawsuit against Maliki for the fall of Mosul and the collapse of the Iraqi army in the city. 1

If this is legit and manages to gather pace then this is possibly what Abadi has been waiting for! International team stands a better chance of actually getting the result we are all wishing for!!! yota691
The Fall Of Mosul Approaching Nuri Al - Maliki Last updated 28/12/2017 BAGHDAD (Reuters) - Former Iraqi military commanders are under intense investigation for causing large areas of the country to fall into the hands of members of an organization calling for the summer of 2014, as well as files of financial corruption and illegal gains that have led to some of them being rich. And verify that a high-level judicial body, with the most prominent officers in the military leadership, which was subject to former Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki when the invasion of the city of Mosul on June 9, 2014. The London-based Arab newspaper quoted a senior official in the Iraqi judiciary as saying, "The Integrity Commission Iraq is investigating with both Ali Ghaidan and Abud Qanbar, the most prominent military officials during the period that fell in the city of Mosul hands of supporters. Both men were directly associated with the Maliki and received orders from him. Most of the investigations focused on the causes of the fall of Mosul and the ensuing military collapse have led to clear orders from frontline leaders to withdraw in front of a creeping march into Sunni-dominated urban areas. The results of some investigations indicate that these orders were issued by Maliki himself, or from his most prominent ally, the former Undersecretary of Interior, Adnan al-Asadi. Maliki tried to distance himself from the charge of causing the fall of Mosul, although the Iraqi prime minister is the commander-in-chief of the armed forces, according to the Iraqi constitution. "Guidan and Qanbar are being held with about 90 other Iraqi officers to investigate the fall of Mosul, Tikrit and Ramadi," the judicial official said. The sources said that "the defense minister in Maliki's first government, Abdul Qadir al-Obeidi is under investigation on charges related to the inflation of his wealth."The sources say that former ministers and military commanders have divided the salaries of hundreds of thousands of fighters in the armed forces known as "astronauts", who are restricted in the records of the Ministries of Defense and Interior, but receive half the salaries, do not attend security centers and various work sites, Effective service in the ranks of the armed forces. The arms processing of the Iraqi army will be among the most prominent files that hunt for officials in Maliki's government, including the former prime minister himself. Sources in the office of Abadi, "the issuance of orders to the military units, the opening of all records before the judicial bodies investigating the file arming the Iraqi army."Sources confirm that "close to al-Maliki will be convicted in the file of arms deals in the event of continued investigations on them," noting that "billions of dollars paid to those close to Maliki as a commission to facilitate transactions arming the Iraqi army with a lot of equipment that does not need or does not match the specifications of his weapon mainly "He said. The political circles in Baghdad are talking about the possibility that opening the file of the fall of Mosul and arms deals could lead to a series of prosecutions, possibly affecting Maliki personally. The fall of Mosul has caused a devastating collapse in the ranks of the Iraqi military establishment. Thousands of soldiers threw up their weapons, took off their uniforms and left the units, causing the danger of a frenzied organization to the walls of Baghdad in the winter of 2014.It is important to open the file of these officers, in the hope that it is a step towards accountability of the political leadership responsible for directing them, where there is a semi-public conviction in the Iraqi street that the original responsible for the disaster of the fall of Mosul and what followed is not only former Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, A period of invading invasion of Iraqi territory, in addition to the presidency of the government, the post of commander in chief of the armed forces. However, many Iraqi circles fear that the aim of holding these officers accountable, as opposed to what is expected, is to take scapegoats and take full responsibility, while whitewashing Maliki's page, which still has considerable influence derived from the penetration of his followers in official institutions Including the judiciary, as well as the support of senior Shiite militia leaders.
Wiljor
Good morning Yota and a Happy New Year to you and your loved ones. May 2018 bring you health, prosperity and a looooong break from DV “Both men were directly associated with the Maliki and received orders from him.” Im sure they have Maliki inside the crosss hairs by now and that his days are coming to an end, I mean, the evidence can not be more plainly visible. Will this be one of Abadi’s glorious achievements? Or will the international community say “ya, enough is enough” and bury this crook? I dunno, but I sure hope he is dealt with soon and does not make it to the elections and cause all what iraq has achieved to be wasted. Again Yota, all the best my brother and to all here in DV, a very Happy New Year 🎊 1

It appears to me because of the first article that the intention is for an international military to make the arrests and the Prague will take care of the trial so the stars are lining up nicely against Maliki and his goons IMO. I’m quite sure there is room at Guantanamo for them all while they wait for their trial. 😌 Edited December 29, 2017 by Bama Girl

mylilpony
The international team is also investigating the slaughter of over 1000 iraqi cadets at camp speicher. The reason being is because these were our cadets in training through the military's training program for pilots for iraq. This is where alot of our trainers were before obama had them removed, so the u.s. wants to know what happened to them and all the equipment that they still had. We had millions invested in that program and we could do nothing about it until obama left office. The list seems to be getting longer just like the list that jared kuschner gave to abadi. I wonder where kushner got that list of names. Hmmm maybe israeli intelligence?. Those guys are awful good at spying. Ali guidan mentioned in this article was actually seen in a picture with american pilots riding in one of our black hawks. He was supposedly quoted as saying he did not want the american troops to leave iraq because there was so much to be done yet and he knew that things were going to go bad. He and his cohort fled to jordan after the fall of mosul and i always wondered if they brought them back to iraq, well according to this article they did, and i can imagine they sang like canaries as to the goings on of maliki. I think we will probably start hearing about all the missing people again and all the body parts that were missing of those they did find. Huge money in iraq for body parts. This was another disgusting trade that Hillarious clinton and obummer were in to. I hope they all rot in hell .. 2
