ghost soldiers. On the payroll but don't really exist.The leaders made a ton 

of money with this fraud until the bad guys showed up.If i were in a battalion

told to defend but i look around and we really only have ten guys i think i would 

beat feet out of town myself.

Only a few Iraqi citizens had the guts to go against the corruption of Maliki's machine, and abandonment in the face of a brutal enemy was his answer. How dare you try to get the truth out about what you were actually doing/not doing? Why did you do that Sir; because they were of a different church than yours? From a different political party? Both ? Either way it was wrong and a violation of Iraqi sovereignty, and Iraqi laws. Do you think you will get re-elected Prime Minister now? Even the uneducated amongst you are not uninformed about this issue. You may run if you don't get arrested first, and you may show or even place, but you shall not win. You had better not. Or the US may just have something to say about that. Dry up and go away while you can. Mr Abadi, you have definitive evidence now of Maliki's guilt. Arrest him and his, cease all their stolen money and assets in state and world wide. Place them on trial. Convict them. Hang them. The parliamentary legal committee requested on Monday the attorney general to reopen the issue of Mosul's fall in ISIS' grip, a move that will lead to the trial of Iraqi officials, including former prime minister Nouri al-Maliki. The Iraqi Parliament voted in 2015 on this issue and referred it to the judicial system to take the necessary measures. Mohsen al-Saadon, head of the parliamentary legal committee, called on the government to follow up this issue and be aware of its development. The parliament voted in August 2015 on a report calling for the prosecution of al-Maliki and 35 Iraqi officials over the fall of Mosul city to ISIS.The terrorist group's seizure of Mosul, Iraq's second city, in June 2014 as it swept across the Syrian border and declared a modern caliphate, exposed once and for all the brokenness of the system left in place by the 2003-2011 US occupation. It has left the Baghdad government dependent on Shiite militias, many funded and assisted by neighboring Iran, to defend the capital and recapture lost ground. It is estimated that there are a few of ISIS terrorists left in the second largest city of Iraq. It is expected that they will desperately defend the last pocket of the city that has been once their main stronghold in Iraq.
