It is estimated that Iraq needs 100 billion dollars to rebuild its destroyed cities after a long devastating war against ISIS, Minister of Planning Salman al-Jumaili said on Friday.

Joint forces supported by IMIS military operations have left many Iraqi cities to ruins and destroyed infrastructure.

Devastation in some of these cities has reached 80 percent of them where they need over 100 billion dollars to rebuild, al-Jumaili added.

In a press statement, he said that rebuilding and bringing stability to these areas will be done in the next 10 years via two development plans.

The government seeks to provide 100 billion dollars needed to rebuild the country by grants, international loans and state budget allocations.

Al-Jumaili urged the international community to support Iraq in its plan to rebuild itself..................5

Iraq is in need of $ 30 billion to reconstruct the neighborhoods liberated from the clutches of ISIS terrorists, lawmaker Naguiba Naguid, head of committee on reconstructing freed areas, said Thursday.

A conference for world donors will be held to raise money to rebuild the war-torn areas and upgrade its infrastructure and economy, she added.

The lawmaker also revealed that Germany pledged to pay € 500 million to reconstruct infrastructure and schools and Kuwait offered € 200 million to rebuild schools and government facilities

Thanks blueskyline...The $30 billion dollar article was published on 5-25-17....Then the next day the $100 billion dollar article was published...It appears the first article was read by influential politicians and warmonger contractors that needed their last ditch effort of fortune at the expense of Iraq and had the article revised for inside deals, corruption and bogus contracts expenses to be added to the equation...
