BAGHDAD — Among 15 finalists who were competing for the title of Miss Iraq, Vian Nouri from Baghdad was elected during an

event in the country’s capital. Nouri was crowned late on Thursday by Sozan Amer who was representing 2016 Miss Iraq, Shaima Qasim.

won Vian Sulaimani title of Miss Iraq in 2017 during the ceremony , which was held in Baghdad with the participation of a number of girls Iraq, he participated in the competition girls from Kurds and Turkmen as well as Christians and Alazidiin.

Iraq seeks to continuation of the ceremony annually as the competition continues to track the third consecutive year after having suffered from downtime for many years as long as 45 years, until she returned to light again two years from now, which will be attended by girls from different parts of Iraq. 
And participate in the competition this year for the first time in the history of modern Iraq girls from Kurds and Turkmen as well as Christians and Yazidis, as the winner of the title of Miss Iraq in 2017 will represent her country in the Miss Universe or Miss World, organized by the United States of America.
