I could possibly believe this if it was from somebody more reliable

I see some here disagree with you here and you are bleeding red. I don't follow the rumors or "gurus", much because they are all full of :bs:.......

None of them really have inside information, it is above their pay grade.

I recall getting an email on a February day, 3 or 4 years ago from an excited friend with the news that "Delta" had called for the RV within a very short period of time.  He was so excited and was so sure that this insider from Iraq had the inside information that he went out and bought more IQD.

That ended up being a bad move.

For all any of us know "Delta" might be a homeless person living in a box down by the river, using his free Obama phone to monitor the IQD and create a stir just for his own amusement.  History tells us his track record isn't any good.

How many of these individuals have there been over time?......and why do people keep listening?  ........JMO........

Because we all live in hope, and are hungry for any information that even has a shred of looking like good news.

5-15-2017   Newshound/Intel Guru BGG   Iraqi Day...(not a terrible news source)... tweeted this...

#ISIS CALIPHATE HAS ENDED. #Iraq forces storm 4 districts in #Mosul today & gains are incredible, only 2 districts left under ISIS control.

"gains are INCREDIBLE"...

Earlier today [Sunday] the Fox News Ticker said that

Iraqi Spec Ops and U.S. backed-Commandos had breached the final line of defense and fortifications held by ISIS in Mosul.

They could actually have Mosul completely liberated by tomorrow [Monday] (if they make the same gains as today).

Not that I am saying that - or predicting it... I am just putting some context on things.  I care greatly about the actual fruition of our investment.

Commander of Operation 'We are coming, Nineveh said on Monday the Counter Terrorism Service (CTS) have recaptured al-Aribi neighborhood from the clutches of ISIS terrorists.

The Iraqi forces have fully liberated al-Aribi neighborhood in the right bank of Mosul, Gen. Abdel-Amir Rashid Yarallah said.

The Iraqi forces started a push on Sunday to recapture the neighborhood located in the old city of Mosul.

Experts say this offensive may be the last phase in the months-long fight against ISIS.

The Iraqi forces, aided by the US-led coalition, had started a push on ISIS to retake Mosul months ago.

The forces managed to take control of the left bank, and on February 19th, they started a push to retake the right bank of the once-major ISIS stronghold city.

Fight against ISIS to retake Mosul, Iraq, nearing 'final stages,' US official says

The fight to retake the Iraqi city of Mosul from the Islamic State is nearing its "final stages," a senior U.S. official said Monday.

Iraqi forces are "completely defeating" ISIS in one of the most difficult urban battles since World War II, said Brett McGurk, special presidential envoy for the Global Coalition to Counter ISIS at the U.S. State Department.

McGurk spoke from a water treatment plant south of Mosul where Iraqi forces closely backed by the U.S.-led coalition are slowly closing in on the remaining cluster of ISIS-held neighborhoods in the city's west.

ISIS DOWNS IRAQI HELICOPTER WEST OF MOSUL

His visit comes a week-and-a-half after U.S.-backed Iraqi forces launched a renewed push on the northwestern edge of Mosul in an effort to encircle the old city where ISIS fighters are believed to be holding more than 200,000 civilians hostage as shields.

The military said that video revealed the ISIS attempting to bait the U.S. into killing civilians, Fox News reported in late March.

"ISIS is smuggling civilians into buildings so we won't see them, and trying to bait the coalition to attack," Col. Joseph Scrocca said at the time.

The operation to retake Mosul from the ISIS was formally launched in October and in January, the city's eastern half was declared "fully liberated."

The fight for the city's west has devastated infrastructure there and inflicted high civilian casualties. In March, the U.S. acknowledged its forces launched an airstrike in western Mosul earlier that month that witnesses tell the AP killed more than 100 people. The U.S. has not confirmed that the strike resulted in civilian casualties and the Pentagon is investigating the incident.

Scott Waugh, who helmed Need for Speed, is in negotiations to direct Ex-Baghdad, the action project in which Jackie Chan and Sylvester Stallone will star, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Talent International is set to finance with Chan, Hans Canosa, Esmond Ren and Joe Tam producing.

The story centers on two ex-special forces soldiers who must escort a group of civilians along Baghdad’s "Highway of Death" to the safety of the Green Zone.

The project is budgeted at $80 million, which sources say is one of the highest for a Chinese production.

The project is aimed at international audiences. Chan is one of the most recognizable and bankable names on the worldwide scene while Stallone is another who has more value outside the US than domestically.
