We would do well to enact a similar law to prevent Iranian affiliates from running for office or even serving in government. I believe there is a lot more truth to what you are saying than most want are willing to face. We recognize that "the groups" name, in this country is not going to be "ISIS" but their ideology is very close to being the same.
