Spokesman for the Iran Militia in Iraq and Syria (IMIS) Ahmed al-Assadi said Friday that laws of the ministries of defense and interior bar IMIS affiliates from running for parliament.

An IMIS recruit should resign from the group before contesting in the elections.

In a press conference in Karbala, he claimed IMIS is part of the armed forces and laws applicable to the personnel of the defense and interior ministries are applicable to them too.

IMIS is a terror militia backed by Iran. And it implements Tehran's agenda foremost of its aims is to enforce demographic changes in the Sunni region.

Yogaman, I definitely like the way you think.  I believe there is a lot more truth to what you are saying than most want are willing to face.  We recognize that "the groups" name, in this country is not going to be "ISIS" but their ideology is very close to being the same.  Thank you for bringing the truth out into the light of day.
