LGD your collective saturation concept reminds me of Clif High from Half Past Human who uses Webots to gather internet chatter to try and predict what is going to happen short and long term. His strike rate is mixed but the principle is interesting.

This is part of the reason believers united in prayer achieve so much. Focus collectively on something brings things into reality. Of course God can go against the tide and do as He sees fit for His plans. It is most interesting when His will aligns with mans collective will (prayer).
