The Kurds have been a Baghdad whipping post since before Saddam. Add all that Maliki did to them, then Abadi has had an up hill battle to reverse that trend. Plus the GOI and parliament has been in no hurry to enforce HCL or Article 140. It's time for the Kurdish divorce. I'm with 'em. :twothumbs:

The referendum is nothing more than a threat for leverage to get the GOI off their butts. They know they have the largest portion of oil in their area. Iraq is and has been greedy for years. If Kurdistan seperates, Iraq's value drops significantly. None of us should be wanting this to happen. IMO

The problem is Kurdistan bloc in parliment will refuse HCL without implementation of article 140...we can see what happened nowdays.

GOI has 3 option...

1. To lobby all politic bloc (except Kurdistan bloc) for voting HCL without implement article 140.

2. Implement article 140 and voting HCL with low difficulties.

3. Continue as it is and see many corruption and Iraqi citizen will suffer as long as this issue not settled.

Without HCL, they hard to control and distribute oil portion to region that involve. Have GOI have no respect to their own citizen?
