jcfrag
Agreed Sadr! Cut those dingleberries loose and let em go. You can lead that horse to water, but you can't make it drink. For crying out loud, they cant even decide if they are thirsty or not!

10 YEARS LATER
Again, they want out - fine do that ! Have a constitution ? What do you have in the way of a currency ? Where's your plan/Infrastructure/Trade/Provide for the health and welfare of your people and such: or do you just think by virtue of who you are, World organizations are going to lay out the Red Carpet and do it all for you. Geez, you can't even get past the mess you're in right now and you want to go SOLO. What truly passes for constructive thought over there It just might be important enough that if you do want out, at least present an informal agenda outlining exactly how you're going to - Go About, Getting Out. mylilpony
I think at this point the kurds just want the referendum done so that when the time comes they already have this step done. Also i think the referendum may include the area of kirkuk and the nineveh plains. Not sure yet. The provincial councils elections are in september and i think they are really forcing this so that article 140 is finally completed. Just a thought. :0
