Deputy for reform is likely to pass the oil and gas law during the next legislative term

He favored MP for the National Reform Movement Tawfiq al-Kaabi, Wednesday, passing the oil and gas law during the next legislative term of the House of Representatives, indicating an intention to pass all laws during the next next.

Kaabi said in a statement / information /, said that "there is an intention to pass all important laws during the next legislative term of the House of Representatives," noting that "on top of those laws, legal parties, accountability and justice."

Al-Kaabi added that "oil and gas law will take the space of discussions and dialogues in order to pass through the next chapter."

 The Commission on oil and energy parliamentary government threatened earlier in the development of a new draft law for oil and gas in the event of a time refrained from re-former House of Representatives during a maximum period of one month. Finished / 25

LGD is the one that said soon. The article said during the next legislative term, all the important laws. Not just the HCL.

The Iraq constitution identifies the legislative terms for Parliament in Article 57:

 "Article 57:
The Council of Representatives shall have one annual term, with two legislative sessions, lasting eight months. The bylaws shall define the method to convene the sessions. The session in which the general budget is being presented shall not end until approval of the budget.".  

The first term goes through the first four months of the year starting in January running through April.  They are in recess for two months, and begin the second term in July and run through the end of October.  They again recess for November and December unless the budget for the following year has not been approved.  

They have until the end of this month for the end of the first session, however the session can be extended for no more than 30 days under Article 58:

Article 58:
First: The President of the Republic, the Prime Minister, the Speaker of the Council of Representatives, or fifty members of the Council of Representatives may call the Council to an extraordinary session. The session shall be restricted to the topics that necessitated the call for the session. 

Second: The legislative session of the Council of Representatives may be extended for no more than 30 days to complete the tasks that require the extension, based on a request from the President of the Republic, the Prime Minister, the Speaker of the Council, or fifty members of the Council of Representatives.

And correct you ARE. Show him what he's won, Johnny. Back in January they blabbered on and on about 30+ important laws that would be done in next session. Yet here we are, almost to Ramadan, and the biggie so far is the Soccer Team Law. Assuming the next session the guy is talking about is after Ramadan, starting in July, they will have little time before they start on 2018 budget and focus on getting re-elected......because they do SOOOOOOO much.

Yeah, the next articles will read - All important laws will be passed right after the holy month of Ramadan...then right after the feast...etc. Can you tell I've been in this awhile, I have memorized their BS articles they send out every year. lol

Not too different from here in the US of A..........A good leader and a handful of representatives that want to do the right thing isn't enough to override those that wish to perpetuate the goose that lays golden eggs.

If I remember did the Governor of CBI state last year , he would drop 3,0s first of the year, then in Jan he said he would wait till Mosul was secure , now that Iraq is some what secur and Mosul is free of Isis as of April , any guess what the hold up will be in May ??? Soon. coming days, around the corner. we need more gold, sell more bonds. economy is unstable.. I guess the list goes on. next year or the year after. ????????

" Around the Corner " now takes the place of " soon " ( and so forth & so on ). It should have already been passed-but once a foot dragger always a foot dragger.

Hang on a second- doesn't " next " mean " this " legislation term ? OR - does " next " actually mean "NEXT" and not really " this " "NEXT "

 ?????   Because if the actual " next " is not the real  " this "and it really does mean " NEXT" then when is the supposed actual next, " NEXT " ?????
