Chairman of the Iraqi Contractors Union Ali Snafi told Al Sabah the importance of this session by saying that it came with the aim of laying the foundations of legal and contractual culture to promote the best practices of economic growth and the development of the private sector. He added that the policy of the Union will continue to hold similar courses later to the regions of the Euphrates in the middle and south of Basra, noting that these courses would enhance the contractual legal culture and increase the transparency of competition and work to develop the performance of the private sector and its role in economic development. The course lasted for five days at the headquarters of the Federation. Graduation certificates were distributed to pass the course successfully to the participants by the Federation in the presence of the representative of USAID, Mr. Jeffrey. Flowers of Hussein Saleh. He pointed out that the course was carried out with a distinguished effort of the Ministry of Planning and Development Cooperation - General Directorate of Government Contracts and the General Federation of Iraqi Contractors in cooperation with the US Agency.
