It's about time. His job is to get the laws lined up and push them through for discussion and vote. They get a "F" grade so far this session. Those folks in bombed out homes don't care about the Soccer Team Law or what the new official Iraq logo will look like. They need help. Let the Kurds fly the flag upside down on the outhouses if they want. Move on already. ;)

Called parliament speaker Salim al-Jubouri, Wednesday, the political blocs to agree on a road map for the adoption of laws during the current legislative term.

Jubouri said in a statement received by the Office of "Sky Press", "The House of Representatives Speaker Salim al-Jubouri was held on Wednesday, meeting with leaders of political blocs in parliament to discuss the legislative aspects and updating of laws in order to vote during the next phase."

The statement quoted al-Jubouri, calling the political blocs to "agree on a road map for the adoption of laws within the current legislative term," noting "the need to abide by the parliamentary blocs to attend meetings for the purpose of securing the legal quorum, which ensures approval of those that need a two-thirds majority special legislation which is entrusted with heads of parliamentary blocs to compel its members to attend the meetings and to achieve the required quorum. "

He stressed Jubouri "Parliament is keen to accomplish all legislation and laws, and ask it to extend the legislative term, the end of which they represent these laws of importance to the public interest in the country."

The Jubouri, announced, in (July 5, 2015) that the Council will adopt a new approach in dealing with the draft laws is to vote or reject without returned to the government.

held House Speaker Salim al - Jubouri, Wednesday, meeting with leaders of political blocs in parliament to discuss the legislative aspects and updating of laws in order to vote in the next stage.

He called Jubouri during the meeting, according to a statement his office received "Journal News", the political blocs to "agree on a road map for the adoption of laws within the current legislative term, as parliamentary blocs committed to attend meetings for the purpose of securing the legal quorum, which ensures approval of those that require a majority of special legislation two-thirds, which is entrusted with heads of parliamentary blocs to compel its members to attend the meetings and to achieve the required quorum. "

He stressed that "the parliament is keen to complete the legislation and all laws and ask it to extend the legislative term, the end of which they represent these laws of importance to the public interest in the country."

I hope this isn't one of those meeting where they meet TO PLAN to meet again and form a committee to study the hump in the camels hcl, then announce "agreement to pass laws during current legislative term" 1 hour later someone throws a shoe and then a new bunch of terrorist take over...like seriously I wish I could tattoo the word JOKE on juburis head that jackass. Atleast it's a round table meeting this time. I thought obama was a turd but these iraq politicians even make him look like a prom *****

thanks yota , when dictators run / ruin countries and when ousted then countries try and form laws with democracy they need absolutely everything to function locally and internationally  .. hoping they get something pushed thru for the sake of the citizens .... we wait ,cheers
