Twilight News / Oil Ministry decided on Tuesday renamed the South Oil Company, to the Basra oil company.

Said ministry spokesman Assem Jihad, in a statement reported to Twilight News, said the decision came after the approval of the Cabinet in its meeting held on January 5 2016 change the name of the South Oil Company to Basra Oil Company.

He added that the implementation of this resolution came after the announcement of the establishment of an oil company Dhi Qar last week.

He Jihad said the tasks of the Basra Oil Company will be confined within the administrative boundaries of the province, and so for my company Missan Oil and Dhi Qar.

A shipping source confirmed in the province of Basra, the pumping rate to the oil port of Basra for the day amounted to approximately 150 thousand barrels of oil per hour, indicating that the repair of damaged loading dock platform 1 ends operations in the coming days.

This article if friggin huge. They are decentralizing the provinces.  This sentence says it all........It seems the minister of oil along with abadi's cabinet (council of ministers) are going ahead with things even if parliament cant get their act together and pass the laws that we all need for the completion of the hcl dilemma. This sets it all in place so when the law comes out many things will already be implemented. ;)
