announced that Sadr Municipality for the first to open a new outlet for the entry of trucks into the capital of Baghdad , Sadr City to facilitate the transport of goods in coordination with the Baghdad Operations Command.

A statement to inform the secretariat of Baghdad received by all of Iraq [where] a copy of it, Director General of theDepartment Adel Kadhim was quoted as saying that " the cadres of Sadr Municipality first officially opened a new outlet to enter the heavy - load trucks that load exceeding 3 tons to the capital Baghdad through Sadr City, specifically point [Shamma'iya - Orfali] in coordination with the Baghdad operations command and the General Directorate of traffic. " 
"The opening of this port significantly contributes to the process of facilitating the transfer of goods , consumer goods , food, fruit and vegetables to a beautiful commercial Shorja areas and other areas of the capital Baghdad." 
Among Kadhim, he said that "this procedure will eliminate the problem of gradual accumulation of queues of trucks at the entrances of the capital and ease the burden on drivers who are facing difficulties and delays in the entry through dedicated to the passage of heavy load vehicles official entrances." 
He noted that " the new port will be equipped successively with all necessary services and requirements to ensure the speed and ease and streamline the entry of trucks into the capital Baghdad without obstacles to shorten the time and effort to the drivers of vehicles, especially those that carry fast food damage" calling "truck drivers to use the new port."
