Popular Post Adam Montana
Good morning DV members! I'm going to try to keep this brief this morning, but the way things are going lately... I'll probably do another drive by later this week. If that happens, I'll make a point to send an email. Let me just say, it sure is refreshing to have so much positive activity lately! After a fairly long lull in the news, the dinar is back on the move and the news section is showing it! I had a longer update planned out, but one of the weekly questions really got me going and it took the majority of my time. You'll see which question that is in just a moment... here's the weekly member Q's: ================================================= Quote SnowGlobe7 Hey Dude Adam and friends! Thanks for all ya all do! Things seem to be moving forward. I was personally pleased to see Abadi planning on running again next year. I know there are a lot of articles out the about corruption. What do you think are the chances that most of the corruption will be cleaned up with or before the next election? I fell this would be a substantial piece for Iraq's future...and ours! Thanks again for all you provide for us...and for me to post the AMAZING face palm pics! Cleaned up? No chance! But that doesn't cause me any concern... Iraq isn't special or unique in regards to "corruption". Corruption exists everywhere, and it certainly did when their $ was over $3. It will continue to exist in the future, without any regard to their currency value. I was also pleased to hear Abadi is staying the course... that is fantastic news, in my opinion! I am cheerleading for him! And the facepalms... You are welcome Quote strat46 Hi Adam, say the dinar comes out at 10 cents. Being that I do not hold millions of dinar, what is your opinion on holding until it raises or invest in new businesses opening in Iraq? Thanks for your time. Hi strat, that's a fair question. I'm going to attach a short pdf - the "Cash In Guide". Your question is outlined and answered with a few possible scenarios. Download it by clicking this link: Cash In Guide - Iraqi Dinar - v1.6.pdf Quote waitingondinar Adam, can you explain why you think there would be a tax on the money we make on the dinar. When you travel to another country you usually buy some currency to get you buy in that country. When you come back to the US you can turn in any unused currency for US dollars. There is no tax involved. how is the dinar any different for us? Hi waiting, That's a fair question... it really is! At first glance, one could easily question the right of the IRS or any other government entity to invade our privacy and place their authority on our fair gains, of which they had nothing to do with. Taxation exists in our society for many reasons, and the powers that regulate the taxes we are subject to are not always fair or free from corruption, but before I get too deep down that rabbit hole... the question is "why do I think there will be a tax on any profits we make on the dinar", correct? Logically speaking, it is unreasonable for us to think that we can make a million dollars in any fashion and not expect the government to want to take some. It is inconceivable to me that such a small group of people such as ourselves will have the means to fight not just the IRS and the US Government, but ALL governments that may seek to impose a windfall tax or other way to grab a piece of our pie. But that is just my personal opinion... so let me back it up with some outside sources. #1: Investopedia - "Windfall Tax". Quote DEFINITION of 'Windfall Tax' A tax levied by governments against certain industries when economic conditions allow those industries to experience above-average profits... Of course, the specific definition uses the word "industries", but the fact that this term exists at all should tell us that the word "people" could easily be substituted, making us just as vulnerable to this action as any "business" or "industry". This is probably reason #1 why I have personally chosen the VIP strategies that I endorse... to completely remove this possibility! #2: Google "tax on currency gains": First result: Quote The general rule with regard to the U.S. tax treatment of gains or losses from exchanging U.S. currency for non U.S. currency (and back) is that the gain or loss on the currency exchange will now be taxed the same as the underlying transaction.Dec 5, 2013 (source) #3: Specifically, section 988 (26 U.S. Code § 988 - Treatment of certain foreign currency transactions) As explained by Investopedia: Quote DEFINITION of 'Section 988' A financial transaction involving a capital loss or gain on an investment held in a foreign currency. A Section 988 transaction relates to IRS Section 988, which was applied to all tax years after December 31, 1986. Per IRS rules, most gains from foreign currency transactions are to be treated as ordinary income, whether earned by an individual or a corporation. Source: Section 988 Definition | Investopedia http://www.investopedia.com/terms/s/section-988.asp#ixzz4cj8w6T74 I think that's enough evidence to show that we should definitely expect some taxation, but let me ask you this... Why would you NOT expect the government to penalize you for your good fortune? The VIP group here is prepared on how to best handle regular taxation, and the OSI group here is equipped to fend off the worst case situation, where the PTB simply takes what they want and you have no defenses. I'll chat with everyone here later this week. If you're not in VIP yet, my 3 links above are just the tip of a huge iceberg of reasons to get in there and start preparing for what is soon to come. 26

Golfnsr
Adam You state "Let me just say, it sure is refreshing to have so much positive activity lately!" I wish you would followup with some description of what this positive activity is relative to an RV. Maybe you are divulging much of these positives in OSI which I am not subscribed to. Thanks for all your energies for DV Members.
okane
If you have been "sitting on the fence" about joining VIP or OSI. Here is my take on this. The unpaid Dinar Vets access is great but on a public High School level of education. A little exposure to this topic and that but over all a good start or foundation. VIP steps up to a basic College level. More information, more opportunities. OSI, oh crap, this is amazing! Post Grad level of an education can be had at the University of OSI !!! It is kind of like putting on eye glasses for the very first time and realizing that green trees had individual leaves. And the "green" we are talking about has to do with your money! One of my favorite topics! And not just money issues are covered at length but lifestyle topics as well and investment opportunities both at home and around the world. It will open your eyes to a whole new world. There are so many people with so much knowledge in OSI, besides Adam that make the OSI community so valuable.

But ALSO, you can stick your toes in (Name Reserve) to see how the water feels BEFORE you dive in headlong!
okane
Hey Senior! Good to see you! Why aren't you golfing today? It is beautiful here in Nashville today. Did you know Adam is offering $50 dollars off to join OSI with a Name Reserve to Platinum VIP members??? That would cover your golfing fees!!

Wiljor
Many moving peaces at the moment and filtering news (good and great) is definitely motivating indeed. Since I don't focus on the bad I only see a forward motion as they close in on the liberation of Mosul. Abadi has locked down many important issues, it seems like it's taking forever to bring the most important to the table and put the official OK stamp on them. Be rest assured that timing is crucial is these very delicate laws and I believe we are honing in on major activity in these areas. Adam, you are top drawer in my books and your persistence and dedication to us here is very much appreciated.
