Yes but imo it does not benefit President Trump either if every lame liberal knows about this rv it can be used as a news topic against him...even so true for fellow Trump supporters who do not own dinar hopefully won't feel betrayed. It is beneficial for both Trump and lamestream to keep this quiet.

YOTA I'M ON THE EDGE OF MY SEAT WAITING FOR UPDATES ON THIS MEETING WITH U.S. CHAMBER OF COMMERCE. ABADI IS NOT THERE TO MONKEY AROUND, HE SAID HE WANTS "DELIVERY" AND TRUMP IS A MAN WHO DOESN'T WASTE TIME. TRUMP IS ACTIVATING THE ACCOUNTS AND ALLOWING IRAQ TO RV TODAY IMO. I SINCERELY APOLOGIZE IF I'M INCORRECT ABOUT TODAY. GOD BLESS

“We have established a very good working relationship, which has not happened in the history of Iraq,” the Prime Minister said. “For the Iraqi military to fight alongside the Peshmerga and vice-versa,” this has produced “a mutual trust, which has never been seen before,” he affirmed."

That must be the strongest endorsement by an Iraqi Prime Minister towards Kurdistan i have seen.

You now have ground work to push through the differences between both party's, do the right thing for once and the rewards will be far greater than doing nothing, it is as easy as that.

Iagree with you Englishman,

This statement make me believe Art140 and HCL is a done deal. They're just waiting for the liberation of Mosul to make the announcement.

Go liberation of Mosul

Go Art140 and HCL

Go new monetary policy

US Lawmakers want Trump commitment to help Iraq post-ISIS

March 21 2017 05:15 PM
US Lawmakers want Trump commitment to help Iraq post-ISIS
US Lawmakers want Trump commitment to help Iraq post-ISIS

A bipartisan group of US senators is urging President Donald Trump to continue US support in Iraq following a “forthcoming” ousting of ISIS from the country, the Hill reported on Tuesday.

Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman Bob Corker (R-Tenn.) and ranking member Ben Cardin (D-Md.), penned a letter Monday asking Trump to “continue working with Iraq’s leaders to preserve their country’s unity and ensure its stability.”

The letter comes following Trump’s first meeting with Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi.

“We write to you united in our desire to see the Government of Iraq and the Iraqi people seize the opportunity of the forthcoming defeat of ISIS on the battlefield,” the lawmakers write. “Pushing ISIS out of Iraq has united its people around a common cause. Now, that sense of unity must turn to rebuilding the country.”

Iraqi forces are in the midst of a battle for Mosul, the country’s second largest city, where ISIS has held ground for nearly three years. A defensive to retake the city was launched in October with support from the US.

Many have questioned what will happen to Iraq and its government once ISIS is pushed out.

A stable Iraq “requires a plan for decentralizing some functions of the government, disbanding Iranian-aligned militias, addressing the humanitarian needs of Iraq’s community, and committing to a program of reconciliation,” the letter states.

"We should be ready to support Prime Minister Al-Abadi as he moves forward with a plan to reassure all Iraqis of their inclusion in a unified, federal Iraq," the senators write. "In order to provide this assurance, we should be prepared to assist Iraq in a program of decentralization, reconciliation, and security sector reform."

The lawmakers ask Trump to “take the lead in building greater public support for our strategic objectives in Iraq,” as well as “continue supporting Iraq’s security forces so that they can partner with US forces on counterterrorism.”

Furthermore, the senators ask for an immediate response to the humanitarian crisis in Iraq by committing “significant energy and resources to stabilize and secure areas liberated from ISIS, and assist Iraq’s displaced communities in returning to their homes.”

ISIS or other extremist groups could return to Iraq if the displaced communities are not helped, the lawmakers add.

Fourteen additional lawmakers signed the letter, including Senate Armed Services Committee ranking member Jack Reed (D-R.I.), and Sens. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), Jeanne Shaheen (D-N.H.), Chris Murphy (D-Conn.), and Tim Kaine (D-Va.).

Doom awaiting Iran as Abadi meets Trump in Washington

March 21 2017 09:38 PM
Abadi in landmark meeting with Trump
Abadi in landmark meeting with Trump

Mostapha Hassan

Iraqi Premiere Haider al-Abadi on Monday met with the US president Donald J. Trump in the first meeting between the two leaders since the latter took office in late January 2017.

The meeting also comes as Trump is set to host a 68-nation meeting geared toward advancing the fight against ISIS, the NBC news said.

Many experts see the meeting crucial, as it came less than a week since Saudi Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman came to Washington and met the new president.

Iran and the threat it poses in the region has been hot on the agenda of the two meetings.

In the meeting with Abadi, Trump said Iran was one of the issues facing his team and the Iraqi delegation. He seized the opportunity to criticize the nuclear deal his predecessor, Barack Obama, inked with Iran, the NBC news reported.

According to experts, this visit is of great importance. There, Abadi is outlining the guidelines of the US-Iraqi joint policy when it comes to tackling the Iranian threat.

Fight against ISIS also came up at the two officials' meeting, where Abadi said Iraq, despite having the strongest counterterrorism forces, needs more cooperation with Washington on the file.

Before coming to power, Trump campaigned on a promise to dramatically ramp up the assault on ISIS and has vowed to eradicate "radical terrorism."

Joint roadmap

Abadi and Trump, at their meeting, outlined several principles in the joint roadmap on ISIS, Iran and the Iraqi oil, experts told the Baghdad Post.

Before leaving for Washington, Abadi said in a video statement: "We are in the last chapter, the final stages to eliminate IS militarily in Iraq."

Abadi asked Trump not to leak any portion of what the two sides agreed regarding Iran to journalists, since Teheran has many surrogates inside Iraq to use for pressuring the government before accomplishing its mission to crush ISIS.

Abadi's request came after the White House mentioned in its statement the issues discussed in the telephone conversation between Abadi and Trump, saying they broached upon the Iranian threat to the region.

At this point, Abadi announced that Iraq keeping itself aloof from any regional conflict.

Trump asked Abadi to start measures to scale down the Iranian security influence inside Iraq, sources said, citing Abadi's recent remarks that Iran Militia in Iraq and Syria (IMIS) terror group will not be allowed to run for parliament seats.

Militiamen have no place in the electoral race, he added.

Insiders consider the move as a stern warning to Tehran that its blood-stained hands will be cut off in Iraq. Also, Trump briefed Abadi on key points of the agreements penned with Saudi prince, including huge support for Iraq 'in case it forsakes Iran and gets back to its Arab sphere, the experts revealed.

The meeting on Tuesday between bin Salman and Trump appeared to signal a meeting of the minds on many issues between Trump and Prince Mohammed, especially the Iranian role in the region, analysts suggest.

The deputy crown prince viewed the nuclear deal as "very dangerous," the senior adviser said, adding that both leaders had identical views on "the danger of Iran's regional expansionist activities." Fortune quoted bin Salman as saying.

Another thorny issue was discussed at the landmark meenting. It is the Iraqi oil.

At a forum hosted by NBC on September 7, Trump suggested seizing Iraqi oil would have been a way to pay for the Iraq war.

We go in, we spend $3tn, we lose thousands and thousands of lives, and then … what happens is we get nothing, Trump further stated.

However, the US president then rectified his remarks, saying it was misquoted. Moreover, he vowed to increase the US investments in the Iraqi oil sector.

Yet US Defense Secretary, James Mattis denied US intent to seize Iraq oil.

"We're not in Iraq to seize anybody's oil." Mattis told reporters before departing for Baghdad on February 20.

Oil for reconstruction

Dr.. As Abdul Hadi Hassan
Is the first direction of Iraq offered by US President Trump after his accession to the new management tasks, as presented to the US House of Representatives the "reconstruction of Iraq for oil" and all that handed down the media about the project during the past few days that an economic initiative that includes a hundred paragraph mostly legal and financial materials, what are the reasons submission of this project? Is collar represents the survival of the Iraqi economy?
Thirteen years have passed , we could not be where we invest in human and natural resources available in order to achieve the desired economic growth, it remained development strategies and plans of ink on paper, except those related to the oil sector.
Where it was developed without the other depending on what is known Bstratejah sector commander that he contemplates them to contribute to the development of other sectors later through effects secreted by this
 sector.

We have been allocated limits (25 percent) of the total public budgets thirteen years of investment budgets for the years they constitute up to 200 billion
 dollars.

According to the Ministry of Planning, the average implementation of the investment budget for the period mentioned was around (67 percent) , which means that what is actually spent nearly 130 billion dollars, but what has been made of those projects in return? And where you go these
 funds?

This may be one of the reasons for the project and thus attempt to accomplish the model that the United States wants in the new Iraq , at least in economic terms, moreover, the guy is trying to bring some of his campaign promises regarding the revitalization of the work of American companies and increase their profits, especially in light of the recession going through the US economy since the global financial crisis in 2008.
but did you realize this project our interests? Is collar represents survive? This question is expected to be controversial and widely in the coming days , and we believe this controversy Senba from the points of view of the subject, the first radical with a political dimension to the extreme and the second towards the acceptance of rejection after
 economist.
With the objective vision is to remain the most effective in the world racing stage where about seizing opportunities that may result from a balanced relationship with the new administration, a fact that what we want from our politicians away from launch any pre - judgments.
