SnowGlobe7
Can Abadi run again? Would Sadr support him? If not who is running and who does Sadr support?

Yes Abadi can run again. I think Sadr would support him depending on what Abadi can accomplish in the next year. He is fighting Maliki and all the grief he brings with him. They should have dealt with him in 2014. The people need to vote in a Parliament that will actually show up and do something, IMO. But I think Abadi has Trump behind him.
SnowGlobe7
Good news Bean....when are the next elections?
TexasMike1958
My thinking is Abadi wants this done before elections. If maliki and his band of nosepickers can keep dragging this out till then, it is possible Abadi could be booted out. If not, Abadi can write his ticket for re election.

Donziman
This is actually good news. Sadr must know something is coming to be so kind. Remember it was not long ago his demonstraters/thugs broke into the green zone and tore up the offices

ChuckFinley
This is a good thing, at least it will buy some stability as well as a check to make sure things are moving forward.
