Mnt Goat News Brief for Monday March 13th

3/13/2017

March 13, 2017 Mnt Goat News Brief

Hi Everyone,

I bring you much news today.

Abadi stresses near the end of the war and called on Iraqis in Mosul in Germany to return to the country. (I am still looking at the target of end of March for this effort to be conclude)

Spokesman for the Iraqi joint operations Yahya said Messenger Saturday that "the coming hours" could see a "great victories" of Iraqi forces on Daesh fighters in Mosul, pointing out that the liberalization of the west coast of the entire city is near. (but not yet done)

Brigadier General Yahya Messenger spokesman for leadership in a press statement: “Our forces seized so far 60 percent of the right side of the city of Mosul, and there is progress of our security forces and the refraction of the terrorist gangs Daesh”. He added that the security forces are currently battling four neighborhoods deeply right side of the conductor.

Iraqi forces have managed to free many of the strategic neighborhoods of control Daesh, notably Mosul International Airport, and Camp Ghazlani, government buildings complex , which includes the province and the provincial council inspired pedal. A map was published by the media cell – it showed so far troops freed 80 percent of the entire Mosul.

So in recent news we heard from the CBI. They told us the central bank has a BIG role to assist in emerging from the financial crisis for the country.

Maliki sticks his head up out of the dirt again. This time Maliki is afraid of his trial and the inauguration of the new governor of the capital. This will fuel the conflict between him and the Sadrists movement. What is the Sadarists movement all about. Have you been reading about the protesting around the capital? What do you think they are protesting about? They are protesting about bringing those government officials responsible for the mess Iraq is in to justice. This includes those officials responsible for ISIS invasion and the all the financial corruption. Folks, this will not end until Maliki and his goons are taken down and justice prevails. What is Abadi waiting for? Remember he is part of the Dawa party the party who seated him. So this is a delicate situation.

As always my comments are in italic RED.

Alwaght-
More than 60 percent of western side of Mosul city has been liberated from ISIS terrorist group, a commander in the Iraqi Army’s Counter-Terrorism Force said.

Abdul-Ghani al-Assad also announced that districts like Wadi Hajar, al-Sumoud, al-Maamoun, Tal al-Rayyan, al-Tayaran and Josaq  were all back in control of Iraqi forces.

Reuters: Iraqi general says 30 percent of west Mosul recaptured from
Islamic State

(3/12/17)
Iraqi forces have retaken around 30 percent of west Mosul from Islamic State militants, a commander of the elite Counter Terrorism Service (CTS) said on Sunday, as soldiers pushed into more districts. (oh- wait one second! Didn’t you just tell us a few days ago it was 60%, see article above.. So which is it? You see you have to be smart enough to see thru these recycled articles. This one is nearly weeks old but they republished it anyhow. This confuses even the Iraqi people, but we know better. The % is now more like 80%. So the news media in Iraq is far from perfect and that is where our BRAINS must kick-in to remember what we already read.)

Federal police and Rapid Response units said they had entered the Bab al-Tob area of the Old City, where the fight is expected to be toughest due to narrow alleyways through which armored vehicles cannot pass.

The militants are vastly outnumbered and outgunned by Iraqi forces backed by a U.S.-led coalition and are defending their last major stronghold in Iraq using suicide car bombs, snipers and mortars.

As many as 600,000 civilians are trapped with the militants inside the city which Iraqi forces have effectively sealed off from the rest of the territory that Islamic State controls in Syria and Iraq.

CTS troops stormed the al-Jadida and al-Aghawat districts on Sunday, Major General Maan al-Saadi told reporters in Mosul, saying the militants were showing signs of weakness despite initial "fierce" resistance.

“The enemy has lost its fighting power and its resolve has weakened. It has begun to lose command and control,” he said, adding that around 17 out of 40 western districts had been retaken.

Saadi said he expected it would take less time to recapture the western half of the city than the east, which was cleared in January after 100 days of fighting.

" (You want to know what level of SECURITY and STABILITY? There is no gauge we know of, other than to let if play out and watch over time)

He added: "Although we reject the Turkish intervention in Iraqi territory, we are our commitment to the relationship with her, and the Security Council should put this fact in front of his eyes."

For his part, Makourk said the United States "will host later this month a meeting of foreign ministers of 65 countries within the framework of the international coalition to discuss developments in the war and to continue efforts to eliminate terrorism, and ways to enhance cooperation in the next stage." (Oh so now the meeting is only with 65 nations not the 68? See how the news media changes the reality by a simple mistake? This meeting of 68 nation meeting (65 in this article) was Trump’s idea and so we see it taking hold. Did you see the article from the Whitehouse on this meeting? See next article from 3/9/17)

Mohammed Saleh: The central bank has a big role to emerge from the financial crisis for the country

Economy News / Baghdad … Set up the House of Wisdom Department of Economic Studies panel scientific symposium, Thursdayon the implementation of private sector development in Iraq strategy requirements (2014 2030)
The seminar was attended by Dr. appearance of Mohammed Saleh financial advisor to the prime minister and professor Samir Nasiri, an economist and banking and a number of economists and bankers*

And Dr. appearance of Mohammed Saleh during the symposium on how strategic economic implement and apply them to the ground adding that the private sector is the backbone of the Iraqi economy and millions of citizens working within the private sector, calling out the importance of getting rid of the market gap through public sector cooperation and private in order to create a large market.

He said Saleh, the Central Bank’s role in saving the country from the financial crisis through the development of fiscal policy uncle of the federal budget and noted that 70% of the domestic and foreign debt is under control.

For his part, economist and banker Samir Nasiri said that the reason for the lack of implementation of the economic strategy to visualize the lack of a clear implementation stressing that there are significant challenges facing the banking sector in Iraq after the financial and security crisis in the country.

He said that should the private banking sector support through the control of the parallel market of brokers and banking companies because they are the main reason for the rise in foreign currency rates and the development of laws by selling the currency window.

The Central bank: the project to delete the zeros will be applied beginning of the year 2017

October 13, 2016 Walter

Tomorrow Press / BAGHDAD:

The governor of the Iraqi Central Bank, on Thursday, that the project to delete the zeros will be implemented in early 2017, indicating that the Bank embarked on the development of the first steps of the project. Keywords and said for “tomorrow Press”, “The goal of deleting three zeros from the Iraqi currency is to support the Iraqi dinar and make it a competitor of foreign currency “, he returned him as” that strategic project will serve the country’s economy. ”

He added that “the Bank is working on the mechanisms used to implement this project is expected to start by the beginning of 2017,” noting that “the central bank began the first steps for the project through the selection of designs, companies and the country that will be done printed currencies “. He pointed out that “the introduction of new currency does not mean the destruction of the old currencies, but it will continue to trade to about ten years,” pointing out that “this period will enable the central bank to withdraw the old currency in accordance with the mechanisms will maintain market liquidity. ”

The Finance Committee in the House of Representatives earlier revealed, (August 15, 2013), the postponement of the process of removing zeros from the currency until after the next parliamentary elections, while confirming that the government is demanding guarantees for non-substituent currency return to markets and forgery.

The Central Bank of Iraq confirmed, in the (April 25, 2013), that there is no intention at this time to restructure the currency and delete the three zeroes of them, denying the reports in this regard.

It is noteworthy that the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers announced (April 12, 2012), for the wait in the application of the process of deletion of zeros from the national currency and that require action to stop all associated with the operation mentioned until further notice. It is noteworthy that some economists believe that Iraq is not formatted for the time being for the deletion of zeros from the dinar, pointing out that the deletion needs to be a security and political stability as well as economic stability.
Expert: delete the zeros supports the national currency and reduce inflation in the country

Thursday, 5 March 2015
BAGHDAD / ... confirmed an economic expert d. Peace Sumaisem, on Thursday, on the importance of the subject of the deletion of zeros from the Iraqi dinar, considering it as a support of the national currency, and a reduction of inflation in the country. (remember this is NOT the CBI talking)

Sumaisem said, in a statement to "Ein Iraq News", "delete the zeros includes two basic objectives, the deletion of zeros, and the restructuring of the Iraqi currency, instead of the $ 100 equals 120 000 Iraqi dinars, after deleting three zeros become a $ 100 equals 100 Iraqi dinars, which is equal to the dollar and the dinar This means strengthening the Iraqi currency." (This is one of the many times economists or a CBI rep has told us the IQD should be valued at around 1 dinar per 1 US dollar. Does this sound like to you this is their goal? So what rate do you think they might begin the float when they begin it? Does this sound like they will begin the float at 1128 or something that low?. This is not rocket science folks. The rate is pretty much determined only the so called intel “gurus” again mess with your minds, confuse you and would rather read some bank screen than the articles coming from the GOI and the CBI. Who do you think is more accurate?)

"The country suffers deficit as Iraq does not it can support its currency unless received grants from third parties, and whether this possible implementation it is important, reframes the value of the currency indirectly supporting the national currency, and when structuring currency returned it reduces inflation Iraq".
(this last paragraph is so important. Read it again. What does it say? It tells us that Iraq can not support its currency under the current economic conditions. So what must change? Oh- geee whiz…could it be the economic conditions? Could this be the reason for all the economic and financial reforms? Could they be waiting for the private sector to take off by drawing in investors that will boost up the value of their currency?)

Abadi entered a plea constitutionally certain paragraphs of the financial budget for the year 2017 Act

The Chief Minister Haider al - Abadi, Mondaystabbed constitutionally certain paragraphs of the financial budget for the year 2017.

The law, according to the Finance Committee by Magda Tamimi, that ' the members of the Committee will hold a joint meeting with judicial delegation of the Federal Supreme Court on constitutional appeals by some ministries and the Council of Ministers General budget Law for the current year. '

It is noteworthy that the Prime Minister Haider al - Abadi, presented on Saturday, challenged constitutionally to the Federal Court in Article III of the General Budget for the year 2017 Act, the Federal Court in paragraph privatization of Peshmerga salaries in coordination with the General Command of the Armed Forces, as part of the military system Iraq, in what was considered a member of the Finance Committee Masood Haider al - Abadi Rustam appeal against what was included in the state budget on the salaries of the Peshmerga forces allocation, prejudice against these forces.

(This is all connected with the KRG threatening to break off from the Baghdad government (GOI). Why should the GOI fund the Pershmerga army when the KRG wants to be annexed? Again I tell you this is all the doings of the USA. Where is all the oil and riches of Iraq? Where is all the financial reforms and investments the GOI promised in early 2017 (this includes the currency reform?). Where is the USA building all their bases? Can you connect the pieces? Why should the USA continue to put up with the procrastination and corruption of the GOI from Baghdad?)
