Partnership in Iraq Failed: Barzani

ERBIL — The new Iraq was established on the basis of Kurdish-Arab partnership and preservation of all components’ rights, but it proved a threatening culture by marginalizing Kurds, said Kurdistan Region President Masoud Barzani.

The share of Kurds from this partnership has been 4,500 destroyed villages and hundreds of thousands of massacred Kurds, Barzani explained during a meeting with a delegation from al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue on Saturday in Erbil, noting that Kurds, on the other hand, have never resorted to attacks against civilians during decades of struggle.

The Kurdish president also blamed the Iraqi central government for implementing retaliatory plans against Kurds till they cut Kurdistan Region’s budget.

Kurdistan is not responsible for the failure of the partnership in Iraq, but the central government and other Iraqi factions are to be blamed.

Concerning Kurdistan independence, Barzani reiterated that forcing nations into living within one border never succeeds. He reiterated that the Kurdish independence will be a peaceful process through dialogues.

The top Kurdish official also touched on the future of the areas recently liberated from the Islamic State (IS), saying that the indigenous people of these areas are the sole rightful people who can decide on the future of their home.

So we have the PUK saying that Barzani does not represent them, yet apparently he does: confusing point #1

Barzani talks out of both sides of his mouth proclaiming his love for his people and Iraq, yet has been been fixated on the seperation of Kurdistan and Iraq for quiet some time now. He says peaceful seperation, and apparently Baghdad has brought up "with bloodshed". So is he visiting his troops to see who will back him in a war against Iraq??? ; confusing point #2

So with all of the wishu washy rhetoric Barzani keeps spewing from his mouth, and with what the PUK are saying about their position in all of this, is there a chance in Barzani being forcefully removed as President? Then moving forward with an HCL?

Could it be Barzani himself is just not prepared to give up all the bonus oil money he has been paying himself after taking 100% of the oil revenues for the Kurds. As it stands he hasn't been sending oil and Iraq hasn't been paying them 17% of their share as the HCA had been agreed upon some time ago. Confusing point #3

Think Abadi would step in and physically remove this apparent President of the KRG, as PUK says Barzani only represents himself and not The Kurds? Interesting turn of events... I'm liking the way this going now!!!!!

:twothumbs:  :D

Wait a minute .....  I said this  not Yota.... how in the world did I do that????

Confused on how it says Yota said that when it was me that said that...
