tigergorzow
Baghdad Set to Fully Liberate Mosul The process will resume after securing eastern Mosul 16 February 2017 ERBIL — Baghdad has set plans to free the entire city of Mosul and it's only a matter of some measures for the operation to resume, said a Kurdish lawmaker. Speaking to BasNews on Thursday, Shakhawan Abdullah said though the preparations were set, the recent offensives by Islamic State (IS) militants in eastern Mosul changed the plans and it was decided to first secure eastern Mosul completely. After securing and stabilizing eastern Mosul, the operation to liberate the western part of the city will be kicked off under the command of Iraqi Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi, according to Abdullah. The Mosul operation was launched on 17th October last year with thousands of Iraqi troops backed by Kurdish Peshmerga forces and the US-led coalition airpower. http://www.basnews.com/index.php/en/news/iraq/330849
tigergorzow
Operation to free western Mosul to start after Abadi's visit to US: MP February 16 2017 12:53 PM Iraqi lawmaker Nahla al-Habhabi The operation to retake the western side of Mosul city from the terrorist ISIS or Daesh organization is likely to start after Iraqi Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi's visit to the US, said an Iraqi lawmaker. In statements on Thursday, Iraqi Lawmaker for Nineveh governorate Nahla al-Habhabi attributed the delay in launching a major offensive to recapture the left bank of Mosul to political reasons. The Iraqi parliamentarian also asserted that there are several Iraqi politicians who reject the participation of the sectarian Shiite militias that are known as al-Hashd al-Shaabi in the military operations to free the western bank of Mosul. She also cited threats by Turkish President Recep Tayyib Erdogan to deploy Turkish troops to the areas controlled by Daesh/ISIS in case the military units of Al-Hashd al-Shaabi have participated in the operation. She also said the operation is likely to start after a visit by Abadi to the US and his meeting with US President Donald Trump. Mosul is split by the Tigris River, with its eastern half known as the left bank and the western side as the right bank. The city is considered as Daesh’s last urban stronghold in Iraq. Iraqi forces are currently making preparations for an offensive to purge the left bank of Mosul from the Takfiri elements of Daesh which has lost control over the eastern part of the strategic city. http://www.thebaghdadpost.com/en/story/6129/Operation-to-free-western-Mosul-to-start-after-Abadi-s-visit-to-US-MP#section_235

DV, Iraqi lawmaker Nahla al-Habhabi is only saying what they told her to say to the media......All "Smoke" The Battle to Liberate Western / Right Side Of Mosul have already begun......Keep the enemy off guard then "BOOM" all of ISIS will be destroyed or surrender because they are the ultimate "Cowards". I prefer they "Kill Them All" for the atrocities they have committed against innocent people and children. If we allow them to live they may decide to rejoin "ISIS" at a later date and kill again....Not good!!
