President of the Republic ratified the "fiscal budget bill for 2017

Twilight News / Information Office of the Presidency of the Republic announced on Tuesday that President Fuad Masum, approved the financial budget bill for 2017 voted by the House of Representatives earlier.

The bureau said in a statement responded to the Twilight News, that the ratification comes in accordance with the provisions of subsection (I) of Article (61) and item (iii) of Article (73) of the Constitution.

He explained that initiated this law in order to approve the general budget of the Federal Republic of Iraq for the fiscal year 2017, noting sent for publication in the Official Gazette.

The Iraqi parliament last month approved a 2017 budget valued at 100 trillion Iraqi dinars (about US $ 85 billion), based on the price of a barrel of oil to $ 42, amid objections Government of the Territory, which said it would not abide by its terms.

Yep, it is here...  Now we wait for the next great news find. The budget,was a big step in the process of getting cash flow, the big payment at the start of the new year, the 4 trillion, must have been a part of this budget, and with that said, to keep the Cash flowing, I would expect h-c-l. Real soon ...  If not this, then the value of the dinar, must be real close too a change...  There has been wayyy to much progress made forward, and now everyone knows Iraq's riches are near....   Something has to give!  J,m,o

Flash101, I have to disagree with you on this one my friend. Being in this venture since 2004 I consider myself an ole timer as you state an I have never been thru any of this until now. The list is endlessly on what Iraq has changed in just the past year, this budget being ratified the 10th January is a first. That's not BS, that's for real. 

I think your still hung up on the al-Maliki train an all the guru roller coaster ride BS....If folks aren't excited about the news coming out of Iraq the past couple of weeks they are probably in the LOP camp. Just my opinion of course from an ole timer...
