SWITZERLAND SELLS $98M ENCRYPTED TELEPHONES TO IRAQ
Iraq, January 9, 2017

Switzerland last year authorised a $98-million order for the sale of encrypted telephones to Iraq, according to a report from Swissinfo.

The devices, which could be used for both civilian or military purposes, were received by an Iraqi civilian government ministry.

They can be disabled remotely if they fall into the wrong hands.

Thanks Wiljor ! Maybe I should consider selling or building or buying cell towers over in Iraq. Got to be a million ways to make money over there, damn sure faster than our dinar. LOL!

When I was with WorldCom/MCI we tried to put up towers and no matter what we did every tower would be striped for parts within a week. Eventually they scrapped the whole idea.

Good news.. This to prevent any unauthorized person to listen other person phone call

Eavesdropping is the unauthorized real-time interception of a private communication, such as a phone call, instant message, videoconference or fax transmission. The term eavesdrop derives from the practice of actually standing under the eaves of a house, listening to conversations inside.
