قال مصدر مطلع في القائمة العراقية امس الثلاثاء، ان رئيس الوزراء المنتهية ولايته نوري المالكي عرض على غريمه اياد علاوي رئاسة الجمهورية، فرد عليه الاخير بعرض مماثل لأنه متمسك بأحقية كتلته الفائزة برئاسة الوزارة، وذلك قبيل لقاء هو الثاني بين الغريمين البارزين. وتابع في تصريح لـ»العالم» ان هذا هو «ردنا على ما يعرضه المالكي حاليا، فهو يعرض علينا تولي منصب رئيس الجمهورية مقابل ان نقوم بدعمه». وذكر ان تبادل العرضين المتماثلين سببه «شعور كل من المالكي وعلاوي انه الأحق بتشكيل الحكومة، ولذلك فإن طريق المحادثات بين الطرفين ليست بالسهلة». من جانبه قال محمد سلمان العضو في القائمة العراقية ان لقاء الامس «فرصة للطرفين، خاصة بعد ان استنفد المالكي كل خياراته مع الائتلاف الشيعي». وتابع ان العراقية لم تحقق تقدما في مباحثاتها مع الاكراد والائتلاف الوطني «فالتحالف الكردستاني طلب سقفا عاليا ويريد زيادة صلاحيات رئيس الجمهورية والاحتفاظ بالفيتو الرئاسي وهو امر خلاف الدستور».
