And push it all to start reeling the Iraqi dinar and the decline of its value against the dollar, which portends a difficult year for Iraqis. According to the deputy in the Iraqi parliament and a member of the Finance Committee Mohammad dry, the 'value of the Iraqi dinar likely to fall more this year and so that he could hit record lows against the dollar '. RV4CandyMan
I don't see this as being smoke. How can Iraq maintain any value of the Dinar with oil prices so low? It's basically their only source of income in Iraq. This plot that our commie & thief has with the Saudi King to destroy the business's of oil sands and fracking in the U.S. and Canada by driving down oil prices is killing the economy and jobs in many oil producing country's. So, I don't see smoke here.
TQueezy
Wonder how they refer to it as the black market. If that's true, and these are unlicensed or unauthorized dealers selling dollars to citizens for their dinar, then how come the bank and other law enforcement hasn't taken them all out of business yet? Obviously these people are obtaining dollars somehow and selling them illegally for a lot more dinar than the CBI sells them. Seems as though this should have been stopped years ago. eburt
I believe this is smoke - Oil is not Iraq only resource even though it's one of their major resource - This is just another excuse for Iraq not to RV but I believe time is running-out. tigergorzow
Yota Thanks, GM DV, Agree......Definitely is smoke. The International Community is pouring money into Iraq for the sole objective to make a huge ROI. All major World Agencies are contributing to the economic and security crisis currently ongoing. However, Please rest assure the assistance comes with a price. The purchasing power for the citizens and revalue of the IQD will surely happen IMHO. Too much progress is being made and the pressure is mounting for something to happen sooner than later. Keeping the faith!! GO RV!!
zzztop
This is not smoke. This is Iraq being Iraq. They squandered an opportunity to diversify their economy when oil was high. Now they are paying the price for their stupidity, laziness, and corruption.

islandman7
This is a good way to get those holding dinar to panic and have a fire sale, selling off their holdings at a huge discount. local currency exchange locations in Florida are now buying dinar for $500.00 per mil., used to be $ 800-850 per mil. This is one way to clear the streets of excess dinars..... Just saying... Good luck to all ! Islandman7

I am expecting the bottom to drop out of the dinar value before the IQD revalue to rattle and shake off all the IQD holders possible.
