Marx is the "father" of modern communism.

Lived in the 1800's, was dead before 1900.

 

Every POTUS from Ted Roosevelt in 1901 to "Bad Deal" Franklin Roosevelt, with the exception of Harding, was a "modern progressive".

Mussolini, Hitler, Stalin, and Mussolini were some of the more infamous members of the socialist party, a couple of those made minor changes to create fascism, most notably Woodrow to Franklin in America, the a few more teaks by Mussolini and Hitler.

(Harding's conservatism was hailed as a "return to normalcy, 1921-1923.)

America had a socialist POTUS from 1901 to 1953, excluding one.

Basically, America survived 50 years of direct assault by progressives on the back of ONE president.
