Would one of the Administrators kindly verify this info .. .. Also, is this a legitimate source, and if this is a valid article, what does "refer to court" mean? (is this more-or-less an arrest warrant?) . ... Lastly, if this information is inaccurate, please have this post deleted immediately ..

Aggiedad77:  Hello jr1353,   My take on this article is that the ICC has been collecting information and intelligence against Maliki and his aides for some time now....it would appear they have enough data collected that they feel warrants him and these others to be turned over to the court for eventual prosecution for acts of genocide. I don't see this as an arrest warrant from them as yet....but it is a step in the right direction in that they believe they now have a strong enough case with documented evidence to move forward.   Aloha   Randy

Director General of the Legal Department of the Council of Ministers Abbas al-Saadi died of a heart attack.

A source in the Council of Ministers Monday, that "the general manager of the legal department Abbas al-Saadi died at his home in Baghdad."

The source added that "al-Saadi died of a sudden heart attack was blocked during the exercise aerobics ".

He served Saadi as an advisor to former Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, in addition to his duties as Director General of the Legal Department has held since 2005.
