We covered a LOT of information, and the feedback I've received 

both in that thread and also via personal email and VIP responses

lets me know that it was needed. If you missed it, it will not hurt 

you to check it out!

 

This week I'm in the same boat as last week... no HCL, no RV. We 

all know this can't continue forever, so I won't waste your time 

harping on that.

 

One thing to watch for this week is China. While this isn't directly 

related to the Dinar, it's a good example of how an independent 

bank or country can do whatever they want to their currency. China 

has a long history of manipulating the markets via their Bank, and 

it will be interesting to see how their recent actions play out.

 

Time will tell.

THIS is something I wanted to take a lot of time talking about, but I'm going 

to hold off on it. It's my HOPE that Abadi is getting back into "grind mode", like 

he was in the beginning of his term. 

 

If you recall how much he accomplished right out the gate after his election, 

this recent uptick in activity may be an indicator that he's making big moves 

again.

 

What he's doing right now is a great start - get rid of some unnecessary 

people, simplify the government, and slam that HCL in place. Let's get it done!

Candy01 Adam, What do you make of them postponing the implementation of the tariffs at the last minute, and the forced resignations of some VPs and the Deputy PM?

Will this bring us closer to the RV?

Forced resignations - I love it.

 

Postponing the tariffs - I am fine with it. They need to revalue the currency, 

kick up their economy, and then impose tariffs.

 

waitingondinar Hello Adam,  Months ago Abadi told the world to "hang on" as the value of the dinar would change by June 2015.  what happened?  ...

 

 

I don't recall Abadi stating that date, but regardless... they aren't going to give us 

an exact date for a major RV. That will happen when it happens.

Shedagal Adam, you are a businessman/entrepreneur, and a very good one!!  People will and should pay for your services.  The fact that you even have a free site (community) where people can come and discuss the dinar and other subjects is a credit to your giving nature.  I have every confidence that your dealings are above board and legal.  Just wanted you to know that!!

NevadaSam Hello Adam, thanks for everything that you do in keeping us informed, but I finally have a question. How does the new Iraqi credit rating help with the possible RV

 

 

 

It doesn't necessarily help them to RV, but with that in progress it will do a lot of 

good for their economy and ability to move forward... especially after they RV.

Chartman17 Hi Adam, I've been down with the flu and I'm not sure if I missed something with regard to IBC/Foreign Banking.  Can you direct me to a thread that is dedicated to foreign banks and foreign bank accounts.  I no longer have a foreign bank account since "they" require a LARGE deposit balance.  Thanks for all you and your staff do.

RV-2-Day Adam  Thank you for keeping us informed and grounded (We call Wednesdays "D" day here at work -- common question "did we hit yet")
I know and acknowledge that you are not an investment adviser and that I am only asking for your opinion.

Currently the Dollar is 64.1% of the reserve currency, the Euro 20.7% and the remaining 15.2% spread over aprox. 6 other countries.
There is high speculation that the IMF in their (once every 5 yr) October meeting will change the basket mix.  The percentage of the Dollar will drop and China (possibly Russia also) currencies will be incorporated in and fill the drop.

a. Discussion around the RV has always been based upon converting to the dollar.  Given the above, would it be more beneficial to convert to another currency or currencies after the RV?

b. The commodities such as Gold/Silver are valued based upon the dollar.  How do you see the prices of these reacting and would it be a better alternative to convert to Gold or silver  (even for a holding place until the dust settles, before getting into other investments-per the info from you within the VIP)?

 

 

GREAT question! 

 

I don't have time to write a lengthy thesis on it, so here is my opinion:

 

a. If you're talking about your personal holdings, that's a very fluid situation -

there's no way to know for sure, and it's always best to stay flexible and alert.

 

b. I'm strong on precious metals right now, and will be for the foreseeable future. 

 

But I'm stronger on other things, like real estate, developments, shipping and 

manufacturing - especially after the RV, when I expect to see a huge upswing 

in certain sectors.

 

With that said... I can't give a definite answer right now, but I'm leaning towards "no".

 

 

 

countryroads Hi Adam  Well do you think that we will see the passage of the HCL or the RV under the present government of Iraq? I had faith in the present government, but now they seem to be stalling just like their predecessor. Is there anyone in the government that can light a fire under these people, the old fire seems to be going out. We don't seem to have any politicians that can scare them (oh what the heck, they don't even scare us). Well I guess we will wait another week and see what the "Desert Ewaks" do. Pour me a cup of coffee and we'll wait together.

 

I think things are picking back up and we'll start seeing movement again

here pretty quickly.
