olivesman
I get SO SICK AND TIRED, as I know many of you do, of people saying, "it AIN'T gonna happen." Or "I sold all of mine!" Or WHATEVER. I REFUSE to be what is called realistic and I definitely will not be pessimistic or a LOPSTER. The point of my post is to call all like-minded folks to LET THEM FADE SILENTLY. If someone posts a cry story like I've outlined, DO NOT REPLY. DO NOT GIVE THEM THEIR 15 MINUTES OF FAME. Thank you. Thus ends my rant. 12

DWitte
You can rant some more. It only took me 30 seconds to read your post so you have another 14 1/2 minutes of ranting fame left. The floor is still yours. Have at it Mr. olivesman. 3
olivesman
You have a rye sense of humor, if you're joking. If not, you're as manipulated as a typical mainstream media viewer. I won't use the entire 14 1/2 minutes alotted. I don't seek fame. I prefer to blend into the woodwork so as to prevent my wealth from being noticed. I'm just a bit saddened when whining and crying about how the sky is falling draws so much more attention than the fellow pointing to the silver that lines the clouds. 3

SteveG
Agreed. I don't understand, they waited this long certainly they can wait some more, especially now that things are moving rapidly towards some kind of currency reform. I can just imagine how dreadful those folks are going to feel when this event does happen, If they are that upset now, they are going to freak the F-out when they see their impatience cost them a fortune.

RVWITHME
Over time, you get to know personalities here. Kinda like old friends you never met, but shared the same hopes and dreams. Just like "real" life, things change and people move in different directions. Sad in a way to know they won't be around to share thoughts with, but that's the way it goes. Like water under the bridge, you can never dip your cup in and come out with the same cup of water. People are like that drop in the ocean too. Since you made it this far in life, why not try to enjoy every moment you can. The next one may be you last.

That's a new one for me. Of course I was joking, kidding, playing around or just having fun in general. I too am trying to blend into the woodwork, also to prevent my wealth from being noticed, my coffin.
Big Newby
Not sure 10 years can be deemed as "impatience" Israelis who were slaves in Egypt left Egypt to march about 120 miles to Canaan -- their Promised Land. It took them 40 years to "drive" that 120 miles. Talk about impatience......."Moses, are we there yet?!?!?!"

millionaire in training
I understand Oliveman's point. But I agree with RVwithme . Over time we get to know all these personalities and actually get to care about them. Im sadden for those that give up and sell because I know that they will be so very sorry that they did in the end. But what can you do ..This is not meant for everybody. I've been in this for 12 years and I will be here till the end whatever time that takes. I will not sell because this was meant for me. It should have been WRY. Oh well. That's what happens when you are a bit impatient. ;-) I understand Oliveman's point. But I agree with RVwithme . I'm not saying that I don't care. I AM saying that we should "think on these things", "keep our eye on the prize". "DON'T STOOP TO THEIR LEVEL" I refuse to wander around whining, "Look at me! I'm so sad! Sympathize with me!"Another rant should end here. Edited August 4, 2015 by olivesman
SnowGlobe7
I do care about many here who challenge me to think, those that bring me articles to think about, decipher and sometimes not be able to understand no matter how hard I try, those that laugh at each other with me, those that laugh at me, and those that need to be prayed for. I have shared with you some stories of my family, the loss of my cat, my plane "incident", and the crazy goings on of my Husband. I can say that about many different circles of friends I am lucky to have in this wonderful life. Ya all are just my invisible dinar friends....we share a hope of one day being able to trade in some currency we bought for more than we bought it for. Keep your Dinar, sell your dinar....it does not change what you are to me....but I believe that when someone sells and then begins a post about why...it is possibly a way of saying goodbye...as we all have to do with friends in this journey of life. gymrat76541
We live in the instant gratification culture now! Scratch & win instantly. LOL Investments often take extended periods. I purchased mine 2004 working as a contractor in Iraq. I knew at that time, might take many years!
