Tariffs start this Saturday and I found that bond sales were to start on this Sunday.  You're right, doesn't make a whole lot of sense.  Then again, it's Iraq.

BAGHDAD / Sky Press: Parliamentary Finance Committee, announced Thursday, on the application of the customs tariff law on Saturday, noting that the law will cover all border points in Iraq, including the Kurdistan region.

A member of the committee MP Masood Haider for "Sky Press," that "the Finance Minister Hoshyar Zebari told the House of Representatives that the date of the application of the customs tariff law will be the day on Saturday August 1, 2015".

"The law will cover all border points in Iraq, including the Kurdistan region."

The Council of Ministers decided last year to postpone the application of the decision of the customs tariff for fear of its impact on rising prices in the domestic market.

Climber as far as what I've read out in the dinar community we were suppose to get the credit rating this month (July).  But as you can see no sign of that yet.  My only suspicion is that they might be holding that information back waiting to make that announcement when they are ready.

 

As far as the tariffs I also read that they would need a rate in order to do so.

We'll have to wait and see what takes place this weekend.  Keep the faith "SUDDENLY ".

parliamentary Finance Committee announced on Saturday, they will meet tomorrow to discuss the imposition of tax on mobile phone companies that have to pay part of it to its subscribers account, as suggested hosting and Finance Minister Hoshyar ZebariCommittee to discuss it. A member of the committee MP Masood Haider in an interview for Alsumaria News , that "tomorrow will be a meeting of the Parliamentary Finance Committee," explaining that "a meeting is to discuss the axes taxation of mobile phone companies which the company has to pay part of the companies involved in this account."

BAGHDAD / Sky Press: Parliamentary Finance Committee called on Saturday, the government has to wait to apply taxes on the mobilization of the mobile phone and customs duties on goods until the stability of the security and economic situation in the country cards.
