It's too late to get it done by June 30 , so the next likely date is Jan 1.

Then ALL the zeros come off, technically. 

They Might also release New 25s and 10s. 

The plan to go international, at least among Arabic banks may be in the works. Note that the CBI alerted the banks to get their accounting up to international standards (IFAS). But I think the CBI law will have to be changed.

Yes that would mean 1 Iraqi dinar has value ($0.86)

BUT will they allow the old 000 notes to cross the border?  If the plan is to restrict exchanges only to the new currency NO!

Could they do that ,no one knows !

For a while I thought impractical to do this with low GDP growth. But now not sure it would not be a good idea.

The only bug is that the CBI can continue to hold the 1166 rate till then.
