I TRULY DONT SEE THE IMF APPROVING A RATE AT THE START OF ANYTHING MORE OR LESS. WITH THAT SAID, THAT DOES NOT MEAN IT WILL NOT GO UP.

MOST LIKELY IN TIME TO EQUAL OR EVEN PASS KUWAITS RATE, BUT THE AVERAGE IRAQI IS ACCUSTOMED TO THE VALUE...VALUE OF WHAT 1 U.S DOLLAR CAN BUY IN THE MARKET PLACE, AND HAVING THE DINAR DO THE SAME WILL EASE THE CONFUSION.

I THINK ONCE THEY GET USED TO USING THE DINAR AT THAT VALUE, THEN A MANAGED FLOAT WILL MAKE ITS ADJUSTMENT..

Hasn't it been any day for the last ______ years (fill in how many years you have had your dinar)???  I am very discouraged at this point.  Nothing seems to be happening.  Now they are getting ready to take a long vacation.  No end is in sight.  I don't want to do or think about it anymore.

What the hell does Mailman know about what Shab's  goal was or is?  Shabs seems to be content with keeping the Dinar "as is" and using the dollar or the Euro to do the oil business transactions. What is the purpose of a RV if for all these last dozen years they've existed just this way. Do you think that all of us Dinar holders may be waiting for many many more years?  I'm beginning to wonder.  But, I'm still holding on to that glimmer of hope.... I just wish that these know it all Gurus would just stop it with these concocted stories that they make up and pretend that they know something.

If the "Federal" Reserve keeps pumping out fiat dollars and propping up false derivative markets with absolutely NO underlying fundamentals, the USD may "Soon" be worth the same as the IQD and Iraq won't have to do a darned thing to hit par!

This of course was the plan all along the eventually de-couple from the USD.

The ultimate goal is to bring the IQD to it's fullest potencial by combinding the averages with the USD, the British Pound Sterling & price of gold averages along with their own natural resources.

This alone will stabilize the IQD in years to come & allow it to raise in value @ 2.5% per quarter long after the 1 to 1 RV.

Don't exchange all your IQD at once if you have tons of it. Your wait will pay off down the road.

The thing with mailman is that he has always had a little more insight into things than the majority of us. NO, he may not know more...have better "contacts" etc., but he does have a pretty good level head in assessing this whole thing. That's part of the reason he and med parted company finally ( thank goodness) Just my opinion of course, but mailman is one to listen seriously to.

I don't know mailman but I do agree with you that he is one of the better ones.    I like what he has to say.   Lets just hope for all of our sakes that he's on to something.  

 

I agree that that would be the best   1 to 1 for the people of Iraq and especially for us.
