this just in from Millionday...

Millionday  March 31 2015

Parliament finance committee, said that the Governor of the Central Bank, told her that the exchange rate of the Iraqi Dinar against the Dollar will return to normal in the coming weeks.

So what is normal in coming weeks? Is it the old RI rate plus 20% for inflation? Inquiring minds want to know.

And the weeks turned into months which turned into years followed by decades......

To quote  Lynyrd Skynyrd....You got that right

Odd isn't it...we went from coming days to coming weeks.

Not odd if you stuck around Dinarland for a li'l  while

My guess is the pre Sadam sanctions rate before the IQD was devalued by the UN. That rate was $3.20. IMO.

But you know that was a fictitious rate in that  they  ( Iraq) had decided  to give it that value which was deemed totally out of reality. There were articles here on DV about it in the past ( years ago)
