Cabinet decided Tuesday to authorize the Finance Minister , Hoshyar Zebari, the authority to negotiate and sign a draft agreement on avoidance of double taxation and prevention of evasion of taxes on income and capital between Iraq and Kuwait. The prime minister's office said in a statement received Alsumaria News a copy of it, "The Council of Ministers approved in its regular 13-chaired by Haider al-Abadi, to authorize the Finance Minister, Hoshyar Zebari, the authority to negotiate and sign a draft agreement on avoidance of double taxation and prevention of evasion of taxes on income and capital between the Government of the Republic of Iraq and the Government of the State of Kuwait , as amended by the Shura Council State, according to the provisions of Article (80 / item VI) of the Constitution. "

 

 

 


He added that "The Board approved the establishment of the Foreign Ministry to prepare a document authorization required on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Iraq to Minister of Finance in accordance with the contexts approved, and submitted to the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers in order to obtain the signature of the prime minister. " It is noteworthy that the Council of Ministers held on Tuesday of each session a week which discusses the draft laws and developments in the various political, economic and social levels.
