Charles Barkley seems to be doubting President Obama’s resolve as of late. The former NBA star said in a recent interview that he wishes Obama was more like Jordan’s King Abdullah, at least when it comes to battling the militant group, ISIS.
In a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, Barkley discussed his changing political perspectives and even his thoughts on the War on Terror.

 
When asked about someone he would like to meet, Barkley said “Nelson Mandela” (who is no longer alive). Barkley was then asked if to name someone who is currently alive, to which he replied, “King Abdullah from Jordan.”
Elaborating further, Barkley said:

“Because I think his actions when [iSIS] burned that kid [Jordanian pilot Al-Kaseasbeh] alive, I thought his actions were heroic. He was like, “No, you cannot do that to my people.”
I wish President Obama was like that sometimes. I do. I think that is the way we have to treat ISIS. We can’t keep thinking it will go away. I thought it was heroic what Abdullah did.”

Barkley’s comments in support of King Abdullah come after the leader’s “earth-shaking” response to the brutal murder of 1st Lt. al-Kaseasbeh.
Abdullah has even tagged along on missions, posing for one tough picture that captivated social media.

 
Meanwhile, after the Jordanian pilot was killed by burning alive, and 21 Christians were murdered in a brutal video (apparently, having nothing to do with their religion), Obama was doing this:
 

 

 
The Obama administration has faced dissatisfaction among many Americans who wish the President would be tougher on radical Islamic terrorism. President Obama has refused to invoke Islam when discussing terrorism, leading some of his loyal Democratic followers to question his judgement.
Vox‘s Max Fisher, for example, wrote:

“[Obama] has veered so far into downplaying Islamist extremism that he appears at times to refuse to acknowledge its existence at all…”

So don’t blame Barkley for saying the kind of thing a lot of Americans are thinking; after all, he’s not a “role model”:

President Obama has recently been trying to persuade Congress to support his new Authorization for Use of Military Force (AUMF), in order to strengthen the strategic military policy for going after ISIS and other terrorist organizations.
CNN reported that 58% of the American people disapprove of the president’s handling of the fight against ISIS.
When it comes to fighting evil, they don’t want to hear about offering jihadists “jobs,” like Marie Harf did, or how we shouldn’t get on our “high horse” because in the 11th century Christians fought back against Muslim invaders during the Crusades. They want more of this:

but Markinsa you are twisting points....hopefully not intentionally.  this is specifically dealing with the claim that Obama is a muslim with a plan of a muslim take over of the United States.  i cannot debate multiple topics with you.  for now, let's keep on the Muslim topic.  even if he is a Muslim or was Christian and then converted to Islam....where did he break the law???

but how can you say these things when you were not privy to the war room??  you do not know the overall strategy in releasing that information about 25000 iraqi troops.  are you certain that this is not a marketing campaign to notice the inhabitants of Mosul that come March they should be getting out of the city? are you certain it is not a psych operation against the enemy to make them feel overwhelmed of the great numbers (which could all be a lie)???  

 

we criticize things we do not know and neither have expertise to understand.  yet we speak in such absolute terms.  and yes we are all guilty because i do it in sports all the time.  i criticize quarterbacks throwing dumb passes when i really have no clue the circumstances and pressures they are under.  i do it from the comfort of my living room absent four 280lb linemen straining with all of their might to knock my block off.

 

No, I'm not twisting points.  You submitted in your Constitutional Post that Obama hasn't broken any law by being Muslim, because bottom line there is no religious test to be POTUS.  That was when breaking the law came up.  My post addressed that point, nothing else.
