 Parliamentary Finance Committee confirmed that the government wants to increase the sale of dollar rates in the currency auction at the Central Bank to more than $ 75 million a day, to keep the dollar exchange rates dinar.

 

He said the Commission decision of Hama Rashid Ahmed said in a statement, "The year 2015 budget law identified in one of the paragraphs of the Central Bank of Iraq sells $ 75 million per day in order to control the currency auction on the one hand and repel money laundering operations on the other hand."

 

And that "this decision impact on the market but it will not last long because of the actions to be taken by the central bank."

 

He added that "there are claims to increase bank sales of dollars to more than $ 75 million per day if it is 100 to 125 million dollars per day, to reduce the price of the dollar against the dinar."

 

He pointed out that "the Commission will consider those requests and decide in a timely manner."

 

He called his flesh, "the central bank to accelerate the activation of serious action to control the outlets selling the dollar and prevent this currency manipulators and take precautionary measures against violators and punitive."

 

On the other hand the central bank sales in the auction for the sale of foreign currencies fell slightly on Wednesday to $ 78 million after it was Tuesday 79 million and 650 thousand dollars. According to a statement of the bank that «the size of the amount sold by the bank at the auction of the dollar Wednesday reached 78 million 426 000 dollars at the exchange rate in 1166 dinars to the dollar and with the participation of 24 banks».

 

He explained that «the quantity sold in cash amounted to seven million and 250 thousand dollars, and the quantity sold Khawwalat reached 71 million and 176 thousand dollars»

 

The statement said that «the Iraqi Central Bank to continue buying and selling dollars at 1166 dinars», adding that «the sale of remittances price 1187 JD / dollar, including the commission of the Central Bank of 21 dinars per dollar, with total cash sales price of $ 1190 JD / dollar, including the commission Bank Central of 24 dinars per dollar ».

 

The central bank has sold in the past month, more than $ 2.8 billion. Unless they make and amendment to the Newly passed Budget of 2015, IMO ain't gonna happen...the meaning of Government is the Politicians that have side business in the banking industry, in which the New CBI Budget Law with the requirements to provide certain Identification to justify sales with the CBI and hold time of 30 days...and to ensure proper exchange rates set forth by the CBI...again IMO this new CBI Budget Law is to remove these folks and to prevent money laundering....
